Placing 99.9 percent of dumb students in what you call a High School is no achievement is there is nothing high about those schools or the students. SHS is crap! An no one (even in academia) is making any research to find out the effect of the Jerry Rawlings' PNDC destruction of the educational system in Ghana. Did I not hear these lecturers collected research allowance at the start of the year? Where is the research?

The placement list must be published and a copy also given to the BNI and the CID departments for them to start investigate the possible corruption that is associated with admissions into the SHS.
They should target the City schools where it is believed the so called rich would want their kids to be at all cost.
In addition, the following can be considered:
1. Ministry of Education,Ghana Education service and the examination bodies should TAG each and every student's index number with their placement schools;
2. All subsidies the government pay to the students in each school must also be TAG with the students' name, their placement school and their index numbers.
3. Copies of this placement list must go to our tertiary instututions(Univ,Poly,Teacher Training Colleges and the Nursing training Colleges). If your BECE index number which is tagged with your SHS placement, indicates that, you are supposed to be in SHS "A" you cannot register in SHS "B" for your SHS final year exams. For some genuine reasons,if a there should be a change of school, there should be a procedure to effect that change, which must involve all the stakeholders-the examination bodies,GES,MOE,THE BNIs,THE Heads of the two schools etc; after this change, the tertiary instutions must be updated with all the supporting documents as would be prescibed in the Procedure.
This will mean that, a student who is placed in SHS "A" cannot enter any tertiary institution from SHS "B" for example. The obvoius question would be,you were placed in SHS "A",why did you write your SHS exams in SHS"B"?
The BNIs and the CIDs can then investigate why it is so. Otherwise, that student should not be given admission to any of our tertiary institutions,be it public or government.
Those who for some reasons register and write private exams(NOV/DEC) should undergo the same procedure.Their BECE index numbers must be TAGGED with their JHS school.
The point here is to make it so difficult for both the HEADS of SHS and the parents who are bent on bending the rules.
There are deviants in every society who are bent to have their ways through because of their STATUS or their MONEY, just put a system will finally catch them up along the line.
In the developed countries, people are corrupt and would do all to have their way through, but because of the pragmatic system put in place, they are finally caught up along the line and are exposed.
Evade tax for 10 years, you will finally be expose by the system if it does catch you at the start.
Pay or accept bribe, the system will definitely expose you today or tomorrow.
The good thing is that, when you are caught, the LAW will be applied to the fullest; our justice system must have people who are corrupt-free,otherwise we come back to zero:
To be continued...

We have consistently written that our national success hinges on production and technology has opened wide doors for our generation to achieve that end. Technical education with strong emphasis on CNC machinery knowledge is the key ! This dummy government has not been listening. The government must train at least three thousand young men and women in the following areas of engineering : CNC Programmers, CNC Machinists (Mill/Turn, Drills, Grinders,Milling,Quality Control,Assemblers,Welding,Turning), Manufacturing Engineers focusing on CadCam Design and Shop Production process management(Using softwares like Solid Works, Pro/Engineer, MasterCam,SmartCam,), Maintenace personnel.
2 Then the Government must buy Production Machines like CNC Mill/Turns, CNC Milling Machines, CNC Turning Machines, CNC Drills, Welding Equipment, Machine Tools and Measuring Equipment, Forklifts and loading Equipment.
3. Then the Government can choose any manufacturing item for production - ranging from door knobs, brake shoes, car parts, sheet metals, computer parts, engines, pumps, valves wheels - basically any solid to be transformed into any designed shape on the machines.
The training can take as long as one year or less. This is the only avenue to economic success. Anything else is foolish gimmickery and waste of resources adding debt to debt chasing World banks and the Chinese with no end in sight. That is how they do to earn what they give to you as loans.
