You have forgotten that the very nations who brought Christianity also brought modernity to Africa were themselves very religious nations. The founders of the USA were very religious european christians and America was founded on the principles of Christianity centuries ago. This proves to youi that development has no conflict with christianity but rather development, freedom and human rights all have their roots in Christianity.

Great Man, where there is peace, there is equally ' food on the table for millions of African families' and beyond, who cannot afford conflict and war. Think of South Sudan, Central African Republic, Rwanda, Burundi, Iran, Irak, Syria, Ukraine, and the Middle East. When there is war, there is no more food on the tables but if there is peace, people can at least afford some meals at home be them tasteful or tasteless.

The source of the report should however correct the erroneous impression that he is going to be the Head of the West Africa Office, as he is merely going to be an Adviser to Dr. Chambas who will continue to retain the headship of that Office.
