What expertise has Ghana benefited from this so called "energy expert"
The silly self-esteemed and endemic mental slavery of these Dankwa-Busuatradition which is continually demonstrated by their sons and daughters, is what is still holding this country aback.
When thinkers are trying to fix problems, all you can see these sons of anarchist doing is manufacturing how to destroy.
. All they can do is to chirp! chirp !chirp ! talk !talk ! talk !....What kind of human beings are these? They never think positively, always showing to be Dumb, Passive, Pessimistic, Racist and Selfish. They are so myopic to think before acting. Always rushing to comment before analysing. Is this not sickening?

This so call expert on energy has no vision. We are where we are today because of investment and lack of forward planning. As the economy grows so our need for energy increases. It is better to have excess stock than to wait till the power situation gets worse and leads to Dumsor. At the same time enough capital should be generated for the purchase of gas and oil which means that the current level of tariffs need to be adjusted to prevent the shortfalls running the power plants

What are you saying? The man makes sense. Akosombo is being underutilized; so are the other plants. So why bring in another barge when you cannot even power what you have? I hope you are not politicizing the matter.

If you have over 2800 megawatts capacity as a country and all you need is between 1500 to 2000, you already have excess capacity of over 800 megawatts. Why then are we having dumsor dumsor?
Dr Wereko Bobby is saying it is not lack of capacity of megawatts but our inability to fuel and gas our plants and pointed out why Nigeria is not supplying us gas. If you bring the barges from Turkey, it will not solve the problem. It will only add more megawatts to what we already have without the gas or fuel to power it.

Dr. Wereko-Brobby is right. Installing new power barges will not solve the countrys´ electricity problem. Running and maintaining these barges will in no time fail, due to missmanagement and lack of fuel. The country is unable to settle fuel debts with Nigeria, so how do we expect to maintain continuity of power supply by importing new power generating barges ?

Mr. Wireko Brobbey is economical with the truth.
1.The strategic reserve plants were sent away because the machines never generated anything but they were being paid capacity charges. By the agreement Ghana was to provide the fuel and folks VRA went as far as to Saudi Arabia, no fuel could power the plant. Why? Because changes were made to the filtration system of the plant so it considered all fuel to be wrong. Is it not criminal?
2.We dont have the plants as he want the nation to believe. Currently shutting down any plant for maintenance is a problem because the machines replace the energy being relieved are not there.
3. I support the acquisition of the barges so that the country will gradually move permanently out of this situation by not over drafting the hydro plants.

You are still begging the question. If you cannot pay for the fuel and gas to power the existing plants, how are you going to power the barges expected to arrive from Turkey? Mind you the barges cannot be powered with sea water! In effect, they are going to only add to our installed capacity and nothing more. This is the point Dr. Wereko Brobbey wanted to make.
