The reaction of the State Attorneys Association was definitely excessive. This was a breaking story of great national significance and if the Secretary was asked about it, he had to say what he thought of it. If the Association was embarrassed by his frankness, it could repudiate his point of view and present its own? Why the vindictive attitude? It looks as if someone who wants to protect the corruption status quoe was too quick to act.
Well, now, it is a lawyer versus lawyers. Let the courts show impartiality in deciding this matter. But it is a bad omen that the Association behaved in such a manner. That is why the Attorney-General, despite promptings, has been unwilling to PROSECUTE the corrupt judges, so far. Dismissals and suspensions are not the punishment given to others who break the law. Why should judges who apply the law as it is be treated differently, when the law as it is says it is a criminal offence for a public officer to take a bribe in the performance of his duties?

Judicial system in Ghana is corrupt to the point that it's members I mean judges lawyers in Ghana behave like animals in the jungle. We have freedom of speech in Ghana. Do you stupids guys want everybody who works in judicial to be like all the corrupt judges? You are called lords in the country but you are worse than dogs because dogs are kind and friendly to their owners. You judges and lawyers are not kind to honest people in Ghana because you always sell the truth and put money before the truth. To be honest with you I think soldiers in Ghana are cowards. Yes maybe they are also corrupt that is why none of them is willing to take a gun to bring changes to the nightmare we are going through now. Democracy belong to western world where law is abided by everyone. Nobody regards laws when it comes to democracy in Ghana because the rich will kill, rape, rob, abuse every vulnerable person in the society just pay money to the judges and lawyers then you are free to go. Aren't you ashamed for dismissing this man? Don't you think people who hear of this will consider that none of you is honest. You are all crook and evil.Oh God, why has Ghana been sold to the crooks dishonest people to destroy our nation? From president Mahama, NDC, NPP, judges lawyers police, human rights in Ghana are sick and do not know what they are doing. They are crashing our spirit and emotions everyday. To hell all of you, till you behave like human beings remove the big title of my Lord from your head. None of you use the laws of our land.

I am not a lawyer but understand a bit of logic. An "if" statement is a conditional statement and should not be regarded as a conclusive statement. What the attorney is a harmless statement and if the Association construe this statement as conclusive as though the Attorney is asking for the prosecution of the corrupt judges then my conclusion is that those attorneys are in league with the corrupt judges and are possibly birfd of the same feather

This disgraced former secretary should count his woes and quietly retire with his ignominy rather further aggravating an already bad situation.
He blatantly played politics with a delicate national issue and should have realized that being introduced with his title and him not saying before hand that he was speaking in an unofficial capacity clearly indicate that he had the authority of his office to do so.
It turned out that he only wanted to appease and play npp politics with a judicial process which as a lawyer,he must know better. In fact he must be watched since it seems to me to be worse the the corrupt Judges.

Fight for your right to be reinstated immediately. This is not a jungle where one can be hired and fired like using condom and throwing it away. You have all rights guaranteed by the constitution to speak your mind in your personal capacity and even in the capacity of the association as long as it doesn't malign the association. What they are trying to do is away of giving solidarity with their cohot who are the accused judges. Mr ofori i support you in prayer fight for your rights and against the injustices they want to visit on you.

This swift action by the Association, will serve as a reminder/wake-up call to all individuals - people working for public or private entities - not to rush to the microphone, or grant needless interviews to FM/TV Stations!

All those lawyers and public officials fighting tooth and nail to reverse the corruption charges against the judges and other judicial officers are themselves very corrupt and would want to pull the wool over our eyes.
