The cost of a new voters register pales when compared to moneys thrown away to Wayomi, CP, SADA, etc. Ghana will surely be crippled to her knees if Mahama and the likes of Moses Asaga, etc. are back in the saddle i n 2016.

Why only new register? What about fake passports, driver licenses? We must issue new ones to all. Also we must print new money any time we find counterfeits. This is what NPP wants.

The 2012 elections report should have guided us to do the necessary reforms.I think "over voting,serial numbers and registration of some Ghanaians abroad" are the most important administrative challenges.On the technical side,we have failure of the Verification machine to capture the finger prints of some registered voters.We also had failure of the Biometric machine to capture multiple voters.These are the reports we all know that they posed problems for us in the last general elections.I don't understand why Bawumia went far away to find stories that were not mentioned in their election petition and the 2012 elections report.NPP cannot force the EC to compile a new voters register based on unfounded statements.Thank you.

Just as Ghanains re beginning to put our trust in women in leadership positions and still advocating for more,here comes the EC boss who decided to choose lose and insulate words on Ghanains to prove that she tough,I am prepared to forgive her at this stage because it her first time but let me warn her that lose and unpredictable words in the dictionary is not the preserve for her alone and she must make all efforts to be civil and respect the natural law of order in gender.Why if there's any short falls in our understanding as Ghanains in our civil liberties and rights,she takes part of the blame because it was her duty as former boss of NCCE to educate Ghanains on our civil and voting rights so if she can not appropriate us today the cure must not be insults.We re closely watching her not only as Ghanains but the outside world where we ll be all running to if her actions finally make this country ungovernable.She can put all this bruhaha to rest by telling the police to allow the let my votes count alliance come and present their petition to her with the police present and not buy into the rigid stance of the police that has only led to postponement leading to them using more resources over and over when it could've been handle just once,is the police coursing financial lost?i think yes.NDC is always a bad example in out democratic drive,they do not even know when to score political points,a very good example again is the way they handled black Queens,in fact let us not waste time to vote them out come 2016.

Is this not the question that must be answered by those advocating for a new register?

In my opinion compiling a new register without any guarantee that this will eliminate multiple registration is an exercise in futility, needless cost to the nation and unnecessary. The best course of action is the cleanse the existing register of all multiple entries.

Anyone found to have registered twice should be turned over to the police to be prosecuted because it is a crime under the law to register more than once.

Cleaning the register this way will deter Ghanaians from engaging in such criminal act in future; and will cost the country less compared to compiling a new register that will not gurantee the elimination of multiple registration.
