Professors in tertiary institutions must read GES directives. There are many important and useful GES directives which would help them.
GES banned all forms of corporal punishment in Educational institutions but there are reports that some tertiary institutions are still carrying out this practice. Asking students to kneel down and so on.
Lecturers in tertiary institutions must recognize the fact that students in these institution are adults.

If you misbehave like a child you should be treated as such. No lecturer will ask a student to kneel down unless the student's misguided behaviour calls for that. In fact I think the lecturers are very patient and are doing. ... read full comment

In fact I think the lecturers are very patient and are doing. Not many people including parents can tolerate the nonsense of some students who seem not to know why they are in the university. I'm in no way supporting corporal punishment but no lecture is also prepared to be humiliated.

At this age, there is nothing like SIN but HUMAN RIGHTS. Even well meaning leaders and advocates talk no more of God but man. Mr F used to say that Inharnessed freedom is Dangerous.
