The entire vetting process is bogus,backward and waste of resources,we don't need to vet anybody rather the voters should vet the people at the polls,we are just wasting time and money on this vetting,it is not necessary,political parties in Ghana should stop this primitive democracy and join the rest of the civilized world to do the right thing.
It is a lunacy to vet somebody who is not even being challenged by anybody let alone a sitting president,vetting is to either qualify somebody or disqualify that person so even if we have to vet we don't have to vet somebody who is standing unopposed,what will happen if that person is not qualify to stand for the election,are we going to replace the president to bring in another person and if on the other hand we don't intend to disqualify him if there is any wrong doing why waste tax payers money to go through that exercise,why we don't know the value for money and time.

The NDC is only tickling itself and laughing,playing your own drums and dancing to it.The simple internal contest by Mr Goerge Boateng saw the entire NDC machinery panicking to the bone,so what do you seek to achieve by vetting the president?relating it to lay down procedure is a big joke of the year but the biggest joke for me is Ekow Spio Gabriel who chicken out and attributed his act of cowardy to a ridiculous reason that Mahama is performing,this same man defied all odds to contest president Mill who was widely marketed and stood a better chance than him in 2012 and he refused to listen to the wisdom from many party faithfuls who prevailed upon him at the time to stand down for him,so what has changed?i believe contesting Mahama and finally stepping down at the end of the day would've promoted some internal democracy in the ndc for once.The EC ll be closely monitored from all angles come 2016 to see weather he can survive with his abismal performance and the act of corruption going on with ministers right under his nose at the flag staff house.
