    Teachers, nurses and many other professionals are not equally "balanced" by the system, except politicians.
    Lawyers don't want to join the bench? Let the farmers do that work. They will not ask for BIG SOLI.

    Who don't common and correct people of good standing and families want to be a judge or a police officer.
    NOBODY WANT TO BE IDENTIFIED AND BRANDED AS CORRUPT.

    Since the bar and their clients can buy justice people flock to the bar (layers in private practice) and pay them for justice. In the process they get better paid. The demand increases and so the price. Thus they make more mo ...

    IS MR SHORT PLEADING FOR SYMPATHY FOR THE CORRUPT JUDGES ON GRONDS OF POOR PAY? HE MIGHT AS WELL SAY THATARMED ROBBERS PLY THEIR NEFARIOUS TRADE BECAUSE THEY ARE POOR.

    Members of the bench are better remunerated than other professionals in the country. Even the constitution only recognizes the bench and the politicians. Mr Emile Short should check his facts.

    I think it is due to the dislike of goats that many Ghanaian lawyers don't want to be judges. If you become a judge, you can't help eating goats.
