The general public would recognice this and know the truth that neither NPP nor the NDC deserve any praise. Nana is nor thief he was wise enough to pick the mood in the media and made this one of his manifesto. Nana has had time to reflect whilst in opposition and therefore do know what he is talking about. Of course such unintelligent, shameless and disgraceful beings will never have the conscience to credit vision, knowledge, sound train of thought and competence and that is why the country has collapsed and Ablakwa Okudzeto's gov't led by John Dramani Mahama is all over the place looking for confidence, credibility and technical expertise-an aphorism for I am an incompetent gov't, help me.
The most important issue though is not one of giving credit to NPP and Nana Akufo Addo.
It has to do with the kind of intelligence and capacity to deliver on such a novel program and policy.
We were all in this country when this highly unintelligent and incompetent gov't blamed their own incompetent theft-prone implementation of the Single Spine Salary Structure policy as one of the factors that has collapsed the country. The story is no different for the National Health Insurance Scheme which mindless and spectacular incompetence has guaranteed it's collapse.
Again, the story is the same for the SADA program which they appropriated from the NPP Northern Development program to bridge the gap between the North and the South in this country which has also gone up in smoke and has become a blot on the development history of this country but with raving reviews as a potent and prolific retrogressive corruption module never before seen on the African continent. The world bank talked about it, in the poignant and innocuous statement under the heading there was no reason for Ghana to be poor.
With such needless, legendary incompetence as a major plank of developmental governance in the John Mahama NDC gov't, the fixation of giving credit to the NPP and Akufo Addo for such a novel educational program, although very much warranted, rather takes the spotlight away from what Ghana will be getting at the end of the implementation of this novel program by the Mahama NDC gov't and Ghana should be very afraid most especially with the downward spiral and worsening of the educational standards in this country.
Ghana should be very, very much afraid because an unresponsive and failed educational sector will most definitely put any country on a path to primitiveness given the projected developmental economic model where premium is accorded output from the functional working and educated mind/brain and the dividends thereof as opposed to finite resources and Ghana should be very worried.
