I am an “Odikro of No Town” short dark bare headed man who has never experienced the good qualities of a grey hair. I lost all my hair through thick of smoke I got my self into and now causing me kidney failure.
My great grandfather is a traitor and a thief; my father followed his steps and ended up in prison,
I inherited all their ill gotten wealth; lived a loose life in the streets of London and Germany, patronised a special brothel booth in “red light” street in the Netherlands. As for my schooling I boycotted lectures so no certificate to show. As my monies were dissipating I remembered what my father dreamt of me when I visited him in his cell. My Father dreamt that I am the head of state and has ordered his released from prison. He cautioned me about my ill life style but I didn’t heed to him because I knew the old boy was suffering from hay fever. My father strictly cautioned again that if I have to sell all the properties to become what he dreamt of I have to.
I was living my life after the old boy passed on to the ancestors and my father’s friends and partners in crime impressed upon me to fulfil the dream my father had about me when he was in prison that I will one day become the head of state.(Some of them pose as men of God) I have thought of it as a great opportunity to loot big time to replenish what I have wasted; that’s why I desist to take part in the property grabbing and looting galore in a certain regime I was part of though I managed to pocket the balance of some sale of national properties with my fathers cronies.
I have done my best to obtain a ticket to fulfil my fathers dream to become head of state through my invincible forces by organising demonstration, market burning, Sabotaging national programs, beating my party Chairman and Secretary, blowing false alarms, lying about the state of the economy, boycotting state conferences, litigations in the courts, dirty street campaigns, pushing organisations to strike and many more. I have also become a chameleon: turned into Muslim, Christian, Hindi, Buddhist, Gay and Fetish now I don’t even know what I believe in.
I have also sold all the treasures bequeathed to me on my way to “flag staff house” Unfortunately failure has been my portion and I’m over 70 years of age; my father too is no more. This is not my dream but my fathers.
Who am I?
GIVE YOUR ANSWERS……HEHEHE I have not mention anyone’s name oo

my opponent who made a false complaint against me arrived in the car of the prosecutor and walked into the judges quarters with a black polythene bag, obviously not holding Wakyee. You stood by your client as I was refused bail.
And now you are the moral conscience of legal Ghana ?
In the US when you are there when your friend kills someone you will also be convicted as a murderer in the same case, I think its about time Ghana also introduces this law.

Are these statements and injunctions not true to the letter?

The professor noticed that one of the students had attached a $100 bill to his test with a note saying "A dollar per point." The next class the professor handed the tests back out. This student got back his test and $56 change.

We recieve gifts for a good deed or as a thank you for favour. Why should a judge favour a murderer thief or rapist . Such gifts should readily be seen as bribes.

Public officers must not receive gifts from members of the public. Period! The only exceptions could be members of their families and personal friends but such gifts must be reported. I thought this issue was discussed and laid to rest during the short administration of Dr Busia. There's a thin line between a gift and a bribe. A gift could be a gift in the true sense of the word but it metamorphoses into a bribe if it's used to court favor. A gift and a bribe are like different shades of grey. Sometimes it's really hard to tell the difference.

"DON'T GIVE GIFTS, THEY BRIBE; DON'T RECEIVE GIFTS THEY CORRUPT". Very short and that simple!

Brilliantly pointed out, anybody can undertake the simple reality check he prescribes; and that is examining very carefully, the motive for giving the "gift", in the first place.
If the act of giving is done VOLUNTARILY, that is with no strings attached,[what in legalese is termed, no QUID PRO QUO], then the issue of "shades of grey" will not, and should not arise!
Your point about reporting these gifts is crucial; and shifts the burden onto the receiver, whose current and future dealings, out to meet the earlier 'quid pro quo' test. The public disclosure of the gift, by way of documenting the earlier gesture, would ensure that the public official, granting say an import license or building permit, would dot all the 'Is' and cross all the
'Ts' before appending their signature to any approval document.
If these simple 'rules' of ethical behaviour are adhered to, present "gifts", intended to open future doors to would-be influence peddlers, would be stopped dead in their tracks!

As a matter of urgency, it MUST be made a law that public officials MUST not accept gifts of any kind.
This is so in every European country: teachers, police, military, name it: NONE OF THEM WILL RECEIVE PRESENTS OR GIFTS FROM ANY PERSON. The law clearly defines this.
Of course, family members or friends giving presents to a teacher etc falls outside such law.
If you take a gift, you have take bribe!
