  If there is indeed oil deposits there, then Ghanaians today and those yet unborn are better off having it untapped as reserves until we have in place Production Sharing Agreements negotiated by a new generation of enlightened and patriotic leaders, not the greedy idiots and crooks currently leading both the NDC and NPP.

  Well,it is about a year now when the president promised again that the oil exploration will soon start at last years Hogbetsotso festival,I hope he will announce in this year's Hogbetsotso festival which is less than two months away that work has started,or tell them something else not talking about that or not attending at all,we wait to see.

  Mr Liverpool said the geological conditions in Keta required that the wells there must go much deeper down the seabed than in Tano.

  IT'S STRANGE THAT GHANA LEADERS CANNOT RAISE THIS $150 MILLION INITIAL CAPITAL INVESTMENT NEEDED FOR ONE SINGLE WELL IN THE KETA BASIN.
  
  IT'S STRANGE THAT GHANAIAN LEADERS COULD NOT RAISE EVEN $50 MILLION DOLLARS FOR DRILLING A SINGLE OIL WELL IN THE TANO BASIN.
  
  MORE THAN 50 YEARS AFTER INDEPENDENCE GHANA, IN THE MIDST OF PLENTY, STILL EXPECTS THE WHITE MAN TO CONTINUE TO "SPOON-FEED" US GHANAIANS WITH RESOURCES LIKE CAPITAL INVESTMENT, TECHNICAL EXPERTISE AND TECHNOLOGY.
  
  THE VAST AMOUNTS OF MONIES PAID OUT IN FRAUDULENT JUDGMENT DEBTS AND PROFLIGATE LIFESTYLES OF GHANA'S SUCCESSIVE LEADERSHIPS COULD EASILY CATER FOR THE INVESTMENTS MR. LIVERPOOL IS TALKING ABOUT HERE.
