The whole Biometric Voting System needs some evaluation and review.The Biometric Verification Machines sometimes fail to capture the finger prints of some registered voters.This is anomaly.The Biometric Voter Register scanners are incapacitated to capture minors and foreigners.This is inefficiency to the best of my knowledge.I think these challenges must be address with all the seriousness required.Thank you.

Without national IDs, birth certificates, passports etc that identifies a true Ghanaian, bio-metric is inadequate. We should have used the bio-metric in conjunction with issuing national ids rather than with voters registers. ...

Without national IDs, birth certificates, passports etc that identifies a true Ghanaian, bio-metric is inadequate. We should have used the bio-metric in conjunction with issuing national ids rather than with voters registers. We have a broken system that needs to be fixed if we don't do so quickly we will always have the neighboring countries take advantage of us. Who is a true Ghanaian and how do we tell his/her age? This can be solved if we strengthen our systems. Most serious countries issue birth certificates for births in their countries or some certificate for those who naturalize; why can't we do the same?

The same NPP called for a new voters register in 2012,they championed for the Biometric Voting System.They said the biometric is the best and will be credible,free and fair.Why did they refuse to accept the results of the biometric voting system?Have they not defeated their own advocacy?Now listen,according to the 2012 and the subsequent elections reports,we have always had problems with the biometric equipment.Why is NPP not interested in the technical challenges of the system they championed for it?The biometric verification scanners sometimes fail to capture finger prints of some registered voters,why are they not talking about that?The biometric voters register scanners are incapacitated to capture minors and foreigners,why is NPP not concern about the technical challenges?These are the questions we should be asking.Thank you.

There's no person, organization or institution in Ghana that is impartial or apolitical; politics in Ghana is driven by tribes and every Ghanaian belongs to a tribe.

Ghana had elections under the British colonial powers at a time when the British stood to lose their hold on the then Gold Coast and they could not hold voters from seeking their rightful independence. It is a shame, a disgrace, intellectual dishonesty and grasping for straws when people talk about some magical voter list or processes that can withstand human dishonesty.

Would a new voter list not be premised on the assumption that registered voters are Ghanaians? What institution or mechanism do we have then or now that validates Ghanaians from non-citizens? And if we do not have a way of knowing who is a genuine Ghanaian, wold it not be undermined and rendered moot with our cheapened constitution that grants citizenship to people not birthed in Ghana, hold citizenship of other nations, those who never saw or set foot in Ghana and yet rightfully Ghanaians? How the hell would we know Adam from a Ghanaian? Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings is a woman who would never know honesty if it stood next to her but has the nerve to lecture Ghanaians about a delusional process she conjures up for other fools in the NPP and civil organizations to buy into.

People will vote for the devil they know than the pretentious do-gooders out there masquerading as honest alternative. It would be ideal if the Rawlings's were not thieves; the NPP not master thieves to lecture Ghanaians about the thieving NDC; we have no choices in Ghana and have run out of excuses.
