This separation of Rawlings family from NDC became even deeper when mahama killed atta mills and took over NDC. Since then, all manners of corrupt people have taken over NDC and have pushed Rawlings from the party. I recommend ezenator to either withdraw his candidacy and go stand in volta as independent, or still stand as independence at Klottey. I hope Ezenator wins her parliamentary bid and help restor ndc to chairman Rawlings with people like mahama, omane boamah, asiedu nketia and all those misfits thrown in jail for 25 years or more. In other parties you can stand anywhere and be voted for. Our history shows Kwame Nkrumah won in Nima, I bet he was not from Nima. Many examples in our politics. NDC should rethink this and allow this fine lady to at least contest . She is so independently minded and has equality and I am happy such young ones are coming up and a lady as well. She has a lot to offer. It's sad to ignore her qualities and just use this unfortunate excuse to stop her. Tribalism must stop somewhere!

How about those who were born in the constituency (the Agyemangs, the Ativors and the Abdulais), have lived all their lives in the constituency and have even invested and employed the so-called indigenes. There can be no person more Ga than former president Rawlings and his family even though he is an ewe and his wife is an akan. The couple has lived all their lives in accra as well as bringing up their children here in accra. I believe the Rawlings' have the contituency more at heart than the so called indigenes. NDC, stop this tribal politics and give opportunities to everyone who is qualified. Do not punish the Dr. for the sins of her mother or father. Look at her own merit.

Our Nation's Constitution reigns supreme over the NDC's or the local Officials' own tribal impositions.

It is understandable that if the MP aspirant is not known in the area or has not lived there for the minimum requisite term to represent the area, she could not be allowed to contest the Elections for that Position. But the indigene clause is totally unacceptable and most likely illegal. If the NDC Executives of the area insists on keeping the indigene clause to disqualify others, the Executives must be dragged to Court by the aggrieved candidates and the Government.
