Infact,I was reading this article and got angry and stop reading it,that CEO or whoever is incharge of the airport's needs to be fired,whoever took that decision is backward and primitive,there is nowhere in the world airports tell airlines who should handle their flights,airports have no right to do that,the airlines may look at their operational costs to decide if they should privatize their ground handling or not and open bids to prospective companies and decide which one to use but not the airports,telling who should handle their flights,it is a contract by individual airlines.
The airlines should sue them and add the Ministry of Transport as a co defendant.
If they don't stop them very soon they will tell them who should be pilot for their flights.
How on earth can you blame security lapses on ground handling,what stop you from making rules that will guarantee security for all including these employees?
As for Ghana,the country is so corrupt that whenever you also get tjemposition you want to put measures in place to help you in your corrupt activities,this is one of the most outrageous things I ever heard in this industry.

Aviance is a british company and menzies is a french company. Both are protect by GACL to avoid a new entrant who can compete with them. They have bribes to GACL to force domestic airlines to oblige. They forced fly 540 to do same and it complied. As a result fly 540 has collapsed. Leave domestic airlines alone to run their businesses.
