It must be clear here that without Science and Technology we are not going anywhere.I think we must begin to ban the export of raw materials, especially the traditional items like gold,cocoa,timber etc.I was annoyed when Rawlings banned the export of round logs in 1995 but I have since come to terms with it,he has done well.We must add value to our raw materials before we export them.That is how we create jobs and prosperity.I wish Mahama can ban the export of cocoa beans so that we can add more value to it.Thank you.

The "gutter" system which the British colonialists crudely introduced remains. Year in, year out KNUST will produce all kinds of engineers and architects but nothing will change. Same old gutters will be there and new ones built. Just as the colonial architecture for elementary schools never change and many other institutions never change. Build it, dig up the gutters and no landscaping whatsoever. Thats progress for you 58 years and counting!
