I see Ghanaians in US etc being defrauded all the time because they are told that they have to pay certain fees to get access to auction vehicles. twea. The truth is anybody can sign up to any auction and bid for any vehicle.

Lets stop this stupid behavior. Buy your own stuff. Please,.

Next time he should find somebody else to buy him a car but not a so called businessman who will use the money on something else and fail to pay.
The court should have demanded more money to be deposited than that amount which is not even half of the money he got from the guy.

2)Its not easy to buy a car from abroad as an individual, unless you live abroad. So his reliance on a trusted friend is nothing unusual. Other than within a country I'm not sure that buying on line is also not fraught with dangers. I don't also think that he could travel himself. It would be too damn expensive what with flights, accommodation and living expenses while in the US- but would he get a VISA. Plus he would not be allowed to just carry $45K into the US in cash! So he had to rely on someone living /visiting the US and we all do it all the time.
