Now that you have burnt things that will be needed to run the school, I wish they are all made Day students. Now you shall be complaining your area has been neglected. Where will government find money to replace what you destroyed. The students should be made to pay for the damages to school and police property before the school is re opened.

It is good we are all looking at the various causes of the failure or non functioning of the state , we say its a failed state because it does not benefit the people in any way. The compromises made in the constitution totally erased any true obligation for public officials /civil servants to work for the welfare of the people . Rather they created privileged , untouchable , can do no wrong , non accountable groups that like vampires suck the people dry . We now have whole groups that are practically above the law . Laws are meant to oppress all those who are unlucky enough to have their tribe , ethnic group or relatives not affiliated to the ruling tribe or elite. We have developed a system of governance worse than than the Indian castes or monarchy of the middle ages as no development can ever succeed that doesn't tap all the potential of the whole nation. Whole groups based on ethnic backgrounds are excluded this was started by Achampong who appointed his Ashantis , continued by JJ who had a preference for Ewes and now Mahama who only trusts his relatives and northerners . In all fairness the we can not blame the ordinary northerners and ewes who have taken advantage of this mess did so because the bogus constitution allows it. This constitution encourages elitism ,nepotism, ethnocentrism , hegemony and a privileged corrupt class of civil servants . There is no partisan politics only tribal affiliations which facilitate enmity . There can never be national unity so we Akans opt to secede since we now have the numbers and population to create a sustainable state . In the late 40's and 50's the population of Ghana was around 5 million today just the Fanti speakers of the western and central regions are more than 5 million which is more than enough to create a new state , Africa can only unite , develop and be free when these imperialistic colonial borders are broken. We all know the political arena is polarized based on ethnic divides rather than political ideology and all sides have deeply dug their trenches and can not afford to loose which is a ripe situation for political violence which will lead to ethnic war . Any war started on this principle if it lasts longer than a month will automatically lead to the break down and secession of the various nations or tribes as the white man would classify. Let us not focus our energies on the hatrad of our enemies rather diligently prepare to create our own nation out of this mess. The blue print for creation of new nations and the obligations are in the Bible and a any nation ignoring this requirement given by God will suffer. God gives you a language and territory its up to you to fight with blood for freedom , long live the republic of Akan

Now, does the school provide prospectus to students before being admitted and is it permissible to wear a bathroom slippers into class?

I remember the good old days when prospectus were given to students who wish to attend a particular school. In the prospectus, all the student needs are listed and no student can go to any school and put on any clothes or whatever without following what is in the prospectus.

The Police must not take it lightly. Why should the students complain about the ban on the use of mobile phones?

Some of these students might be in touch with some of the terrorist groups on mobile phones.

Police investigations must go beyond the use of mobile phones in the school
area.

Police may not know the type of contacts these boy may have with the outside world.

Ghana should not be overtaken by unsuspected events. The earlier the better.

Is only a fool who will blame Muslims for this. I'm in salaga and we know both the remote and immediate cause of the problem. We all blame the students for the act. The students were asked not to wear sleepers to the exam room and about six of them defied. So they had a confrontation with the madam who was invigilating the class. She reported them to headmaster and he also called the police for their arrest. Their colleagues got angry and went to the district education office and also to the DCE. The response of the authorities further angered the students. They then matched to the police station and demanded the release of their colleagues. The police fire tear gas, rubber bullets and finally resorted to live bullet which killed and injured many.
So, it is students and head issue. All the town folks condemned the action of the students. The students are not only from the north but the entire country. Southern students are many in the school.

Another source i.e Modern Ghana.com also had it different. Can we learn anything as we used to, from the mass media?. Gone are the days, we learnt from the media. Why always in the haste to publish without scrutiny/editing?.

Nevertheless, all we know is there was violence in Salaga that led to the death of one person. The act should be condemned by all standards. As for the annexed Karaga story, we're yet to hear!. Thanks!.

You people don't know what the students are going through.i am pass student of the school and i clearly tell the whole Ghana how the headmaster and some teachers were treating us back at those days.please can you imaging in the same school premises a student can not fetch water at some places and i felt so disturb for our colleagues not able to get a full bucket of water to bath.T.I.Ahmadiyya Salaga was a slavery zone for students,going to farm during classes hours, cant get access to our parent when you in need of important thinks ,always sacking and changing master.hmm!!!! in our year the same Headmaster sack two maths tutors,Islamic master and two biology tutors.can you imaging because some of the behavior of the headmaster parents are now afraid to send their words the that school.
but i say thank you to the out gone headmaster Ibin Yakubu who was transferred to REAL AMASS.

When examination was over and it was time for lunch then we said without our friends we will not ate.In an hour the DC with the headmaster and other staff come and said if we want our we go and ate and we said no without them we will not ate and the went and bring them ,the we beating as if the we criminals and the DC said we should not worry our problem will be solve but he want to meet our SRC and the will tell them our problem and we the said our SRC corrupted and DC request ten people that we believe and gave them out the DC took and insulted we students and them because the headmaster bribe him.On Thursday it was time for breakfast we came out with intension of taking our meal and how the police dress was as if the were about to beat as and the police drew a line no should cross it and we also drew our line and told them not cross and start to chase as but we for two people only.The cadet petron start beating the student with a big cane and we run out the school the police were still chasing as and the we also shooting as imaging all because of bribe, please I want the information to reach Ghana education service and we the students are worried the should please change our corrupt headmaster goodbye that is what happen in my school T.I Amass Salaga?
