Don't blame President for mediocre appointment. They are a reflection of the Ghanaian people. We come to the web to chat rubbish and we can't even on this platform make reasoned and logical arguments but rather insulting comments. The president is working with the tools available to him under the 1992 constitution which was boycotted by the so called learned friends. How can you make it mandatory for the President to appoint 70% of cabinet from the members of parliament when the parliament itself lacks the quality of men needed to be an effective legislature?

If the those can be good ministerial materials shun parliament and we end up getting bunch of people who can't perform there, by the 1992 constitution, those lot will be appointed Ministers, including dining hall prefects.

The Constitution also talks about regional balance, and a particular region has poor materials in the House, it gets worse for the president.

In any case, how many of us are problem solvers? I pray that Ashesi continues to produce the caliber of graduates they churn out each, because truly, they are the only university that produces useful graduates in the country. Students who can really solve problems and copy and past unemployed graduates association.

How many Asheshi students do you find without job after graduating? I rest my case.

The Consultative Assembly membership was rigged rendering the unwritten draft constitution technically flawed. Right from the get go it was crystal clear the yet to be written Constitution was intended to favor just one man,Jerry John Rawlings. The boycott was a good idea because their presence would have legitimized and given it more credibility and today Ghanaians would be blaming them for everything they see wrong with the constitution. The Chief is just playing to the gallery of the NDC base in return for presidential favors. The problem we have in this country is intellectual and institutional dishonesty. The people's representatives and institutional/traditional leaders either for fear of retribution or loss of favor refuse to stand up for what's right and allow whoever wields political power to get away with everything including illegality, wanton abuse of power and even murder.

Tsatsu Tsikaka contructed a power barge and K4 gave it to Bulkan energy. The plant has not generated even 1mw. Today the plant is just a rotten rag but the government is paying over 55m dollars.
