I like the concept that Ghanaians in London are going home to register and vote in mass numbers. I have conceived the idea for Ghanaians in diaspora should connect various Ghanaian Associations in diaspora and work to influence political outcome in Ghana.
If this is done well, we could finance MP's who shared our true democratic national interest at heart and further go home and cast our vote to elect competent national Leaders.

I am hopping Ghanaians in diaspora could vote by absentia in the future; an idea I am confident that NDC opposed. Hence NDC has suspended Dual Citizenship since Atta Mills took over the leadership.

Now, the man accused Yvonne of receiving cash for going out to stage the #Dumsor vigil, Yvonne rebutted, not by evidence, but by a threat to drag him to court if he does not cease with the allegation. Well, if somebody went broadcasting about me on national television over some wild allegation that I am innocent of before the citizenry, then I won't just give warning to the Mister or Mistress, but instead, go ahead and sue him or her off every penny he or she has left in savings for defamation.

Case in point, Ibrahim Mahama versus Bernard Antwi Boasiako alias Chairman Wontumi. Strangely enough, Yvonne is still threatening and Acheamfour is still preaching of having solid evidence to prove his case. Don't forget also that Acheamfour is an NPP insider and nowhere near the NDC party to route this saga under the NDC and NPP propaganda war, so then, what at all does he have against Yvonne to expose her like that?

Secondly, Acheamfour stated that NPP's accounting records suggests that dumsor campaign was paid some money. He also went ahead to indicate that he does not know whether or not money actually changed hands. Mr. Acheamfour's allegations are simply allegations but nothing else, until he can provide the so called evidence.

His being seen to be a member of the NPP at least up to this time, does not validate the allegation until we see the evidence. We do not know whether Mr. Acheamfour is doing this to get back at some people within NPP who perhaps have offended him. Or maybe he has been paid off by NDC, I will not put it pass a Ghanaian living in Ghana, as the culture of bribery has reached new heights. No Ghanaian can be trusted.

Does it make sense to you that any member of a party would expose his own party in such a damning way? Even if the allegation turns out to be true, are you not wondering why a party insider will do this?

I was only hoping that discerning minds will carefully analyze the issue before jumping in jubilation. Like I said before, unless of course you are rejoicing at NPP's predicament, in that case I understanding where you are coming from.

You got the wife of a president travel to a university in a convoy of 7 high performance vehicles and for 3 -4hrs whilst there had their engines and air condition on full blast. When queries the reason given was it was a security precaution should in case of any emergency arise. Who pays for the petrol and is it sensible to do that. A LETTER TO MY FELLOW FLOATING VOTER

Dear brethren,

Every political party has tagged and considered us as the final decider in every election. Yes,that's exactly the point because we've always voted based on factors or elements best know to ourselves which we can't reveal to the world.

We've chosen from day one not to align ourselves with any political party but vote for the political party with the best approach, message and promises to FULFILL.
We've always had the fate of mother Ghana at heart. We've decided in the four corners of our mind to do away with any government that will make this country retrogress instead of progressing. We've always been called the "neutral" people who vote based on principles,policies and for people ready to make our Ghana be a better place for us and the future generation.

Today, I come to you with a humble appeal to make just this comparisons:
*will you vote in the best of our neutrality, for a party that thinks of the next generation or a party that only thinks of winning an election through investing all our state resources that could have been used to better the life of the ordinary citizen?

My dear brethren, let me be sincere and direct for once without mincing words or doing the bidding of any political party. Let's kindly and humbly compare the 8 years rule of the NPP with all its challenges and the almost 8 years rule of the NDC with all the resources,loans and donations? Bueii yewu!

In 2008,We were promised a better Ghana by the late professor mills(may his soul rest in perfect peace) and I must admit things as we are currently facing would have been better under president mills if he were to be alive today but God knows best. Our late president had been on the political front seeking for the mandate of the people for 8 years and had been in every corner of the country so understood better the dynamics of being a president and attending to the needs of the populace. We had let me say an "accidental' president who could have performed well but due to lack of experience, honesty and surrounding himself with sycophants milking the nation dry and finally he developing the dead goat syndrome( whatever we say or do doesn't bother him cos he has seen worse) it will be difficult for this nation to move forward.

I read online this morning that our debt from 1957 (independence) to 2008,when the NPP was booted out by us the kingmakers was 9 billion ghc and with this NDC 7-8 years administration we brought with the hope to make an impact, our debt has risen from 9billion gch to 89 billion ghc,how?? I mean how?

The Nhis we once enjoyed is no where to be found, the free maternal care is off,capitation,school feeding has become few selected school feeding and even with problems etc.... Is this the better Ghana we were promised turned bitter Ghana?

Dumsor has collapsed most of our businesses, massive hike in prices of goods,petroleum, brain drain is on the rise because life has become unbearable for the majority of our youth due to unemployment with bans on jobs due to IMF conditionalities or the few jobs being tagged job for the boys ( job for party members).
I ask again, is this the better Ghana we were promised?
We have been deceived, we have been mislead with white elephant projects, we have been taken for granted simply because a few of us still remain gullible and selfish.

We are the kingmakers and let's feel proud of that perception. We shouldn't allow our gullibility or negligence cause the future of this country in the hands of this self centered government. We've had enough of inflicting suffering on us and pretending to care with freebies when it's getting to election year. I watched from afar why happened in Talensi and I just told my other siblings to take very good care of their voter's ID card since that was the only visa with the right choice of candidate that will let us see and enjoy the Ghana We've always cherished. Let's not allow our gullibility supersede the destiny and bright future of this country.

Let's say no deception,let's say no to those who don't have this nation at heart, let's say no promise and fail. We are suffering today because it was our own money they used to give us gifts,envelops,laptops etc..and they will still use the same antics to convince us come 2016 (robbing Peter to pay Paul). I can't tell you to refuse it when they come cos it's part of our taxes but I will only urge you to shine your eyes and make that choice not for yourself alone but for the generation to follow.

We should never be despaired because we still have that chance to right every wrong done or currently happening.I am referring to those of us who mistakenly or intentionally voted for this government but have now regretted our action and those of us who failed or refused to vote on election day and have now deeply regretted our action.

We need to secure the future of this country. Our decision is still supreme and sacred. Let's keep this in our heads and heart and do the right thing come 2016.

Enough is enough!!!

I believe the majority of floating voters will still swing to NDC so long as the 2 regions party cant put a clesr alternatives policies to change minds.

It could have, probably, been okay to offer logistic support in kind to the whole group, instead of monetary payments to the celebrity leaders of the demos to organize the event.

I would have been more sympathetic towards any contribution like supply or water or soft drinks for the many participants plying the hot streets to demonstrate against the inimical 'Dumsor'. But to have the NPP offer individuals cash to lead such demonstrations mars the genuineness of the protest.

The truth or otherwise of this allegation lies with NPP. I don't really find NPP's and Yvonne's denial "emphatic". This whole issue came up during report on NPP's accounts. If it is true John Boadu, the party's National Organiser gave that money to Yvonne, then NPP has to come clean. If John Boadu did not give that money to Yvonne but using her name to justify his false/fraudulent accounting, then Nana Akufo-Addo has to sack John Boadu from his position. However, if Mr Baah's allegation is not true, then Baah has to be condemned and punished by the party.

Some of us have been praying that the Lord reveal to us the enemy within the party for expolsion to achieve the needed calm towards planning for 2016. Not only are teachers demoralized, but they lack the basic materials to teach these children, so they can also better themselves and climb up the social and economic ladder. Teenage pregnancy, absenteeism, and a cycle of poverty has become their lot.
In an attempt to win votes, gestures such as the one the Second lady went to perform at the Kukurantumi Presby primary school are foisted on gullible head-teachers and headmistresses when such gestures does nothing for the education of Ghanaian children in this country. There was even no electricity in the schools where the Second lady went to donate these computers.
Ghana should be sufficiently angry, there should be outrage in this country, we need to call for the immediate resignation of the failed governance and failed leadership of this John Mahama NDC gov't.
Literally scores upon scores of Ghanaian children are being banished to a vicious cycle and life of abject poverty, squalor and damnation, even when they have demonstrated that, they have the intelligence and the capacity to excel, with the right inputs, under the right conditions and the right environment.
There should be outrage in this country about the Mahama NDC gov't's populist actions that serves to perpetuate the status quo of abject poverty, squalor and hopelessness and Ghana and Ghanaians need to scream in one very loud and massive voice that, ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. The failed policies, the failed leadership and the failed governance of the John Mahama family and friends looting brigade must go.
This is not the future John Dramani Mahama wants for his children, neither Paa Kwesi Bekoe Amissah Arthur, likewise the children of the Farmers in Kukurantumi Presby Primary School. They, together with all Ghanaians deserve better. John Mahama NDC gov't must go!!!.
