There are no definitive scientific answers, which explains why the subject of homosexuality is so polarizing and divisive. In genetics (and nature), things are not always as clear-cut as we would like them to be. For example, during meiosis (formation of ova and spermatozoa), aberrations can occur. Some of these events may produce individuals who have male and female characteristics. In rare cases, such individuals even possess fully developed and functional male and female sex organs. Are they then to be classifed as male or female? And who makes the decision on that classification? Who knows for sure how many people in society are the result of such aberrations? Who knows for sure how the aberrations influence sexual expression in these people? Simply stated, there are numerous associated questions that cannot yet be easily or readily answered by available scientific evidence.

The point I am making to you is that any scientist (or psychologist!) who claims to have clear-cut, irrefutable answers on human sexuality is simply blowing hot air. The subject is too complicated and important to be treated so trivially, as this psychologist is attempting to do.

Personally, I do not pretend to understand why a person chooses another of the same gender as a sexual partner, but I am certainly not going to persecute anybody for it. What they do with themselves is their own business. I can respect their right to make decisions for themselves. As long as they reciprocate that respect, we can co-exist in peace.

I have personally slept with a few lesbians and they all enjoyed the sex. And it was not a one time thing or one night stand. I dated one for 1 year and messed with another one for 4 years even though they claimed to be lesbians.

Those who claim they cant stop it are also lying, even in the US there are famous people in the media that have crossed back and forth from straight to gay and back and forth.

Thank you Psychologist. It is polical power and money that they used to force their way into the US system to declare they were born that way. Even until the late 70s Gaysim was considered a mental illness in the US until they got more powerful and forced the politicians who needed their money and power to change the definition as a mental disorder.

Sadly whatever we do their nos are increasing and we all have to pay for it one day. They say it doesnt hurt anyone but have forgotten that kids are watching and learning from the same environment.

The idea that same sex orientation is a mental disorder has been refuted over 50 years ago. Where have you been? same sex attraction is observed in ALL mammal species, not even one exception. None. And for humans it has been around for all of recorded history in some form or the other.

And on to the recent US supreme court ruling. It was not about whether same sex marriage is a clinical problem or whatever. The question was, is it lawful under the US constitution to deny government services and documentation to certain people because other sexual orientation. The answer was NO. never.

And then you mentioned children. I suppose you are aware that Netherlands and the US state of massachussetts have approved gay marriage for over 12 years now. So children at the time were exposed to it, so if your claim is true we would see an increase in the amount of such activities in those places. Is that what happened? no, the same numbers and proportions of people that are gay are seen in the following generations whereas the numbers of straight people also remained the same.

Your claims hold no water. You are just engaging in fear mongering and insulting people you don't like. yet when your black face goes to Europe US etc and others treat you bad you have a problem with it.

There has been no Gay DNA discovered up till now. The fact that the behavior is discovered in lower animals is no justification for humans to indulge in it. That is why we are higher animals.

There are a large % of Americans who up still now do not beleive anyone is born that way but are afraid to voice it out due to the gay bullies. I have always maintanined that the act of sex wether straight, gay, or one leans towards bestiality or incest is always a learned behavior. In other words there is some level of gayism os straightness in everyone. It all depends on what we start with and strategically develop.

By the way it is on record that homosexual activity is very high and very prevalent among all prison inmates around the world. Any explanation for that? Did they only learn that they were gay after going to prison? Please read my first post above. I have direct experience with homosexuals including dating a couple of Lesbians so im speaking from experience.

But even without DNA evidence is it fair to identify and isolate a specific group of the population and treat them differently and deny them government benefits, while they pay the same taxes as everyone else, serve in the military, etc etc. That is the question that went before the US supreme court.

Yes there are still a large number of US citizens who still believe it is not normal. There are also still a large number of US citizens that believe if you have dark skin you deserve to be a slave all your life. So should we do that also? Because some people still believe it. Right?What people believe does not overrule evidence and equal benefits of the rule of law, at least in a developed society, maybe not in Ghana.

Homoerotic activities in prisons is the result of confinement and the lack of other activities. It is not benchmark for the behavior of the larger society that is free to pursue other activities and do other things.

Brother i have a personal experience with a couple of gays and actully dated some lesbians. In my view i think its a mental disorder for "some" that is very diffcult to treat so when they say they cant help it i believed them.

A lot of African American women were infected with HIV AIDS by returness from prison who continued sleeping with both men and women after leaving prsion. I think we are comprised of our biological make up plus what we learn from our environments.

So someone brought AIDS to the wife after gay sex in prison. OK. someone brought syphilis to their spouse after having sex with the female prison warden. So we should ban straight sex.

But more importantly there is no evidence of prison acts becoming a permanent behavior. But even if there is, 99.999999% of all gays have never been to prison so where did they learn their acts from?

Homosexuality is a learned behavior from a permissive environment and usually from peers and others who have some form of control or influence over victims. Lesbianism is usually acquired in boarding houses in schools, where seniors influence newly arrived ones with gifts and the promise of light fatigue as in Police, Immigration, Prisons and other para-military institutions. It is an escape from punishment. For men the same applies. The latest source is from the internet and social media where all forms of promises are made to entice victims. The religious angle too is there. Some churches prevent pastors from marriage, sex with a female will yield a child which is proof of infidelity that can lead to disrobing the clergyman. The safety valve is usually male children which is why this practice abounds in the Catholic Church. Some religions also promote homosexuality as a ritual or initiation rite as fortification. Then people are socialized in an environment to view sex with a woman as dirty, and are rather attracted to males. Lastly people with a curious nature would like to try any new thing and get trapped in it. All these are environmental factors and there is nothing to suggest that a homosexual has some homosexual genes in him. We must remove these environmental factors to the minimum. Occultism in schools should targeted and uprooted. Bullying and extreme inhuman treatment in schools shoul be halted. Heads of Training Institutions like Police, Immigration, Customs, Fire Service, Prisons, should allow frequent exeats for the adult trainees to go home and have safe sex with their partners. Long periods of incarceration in the name of training should be discouraged. Then the treatment of prisoners should be humane. Adult prisoners should not be mixed with juvenile offenders. We must keep the fire burning on this abomination for as long as it would take. Luckily it is an issue on which all Ghanaian regions have a common ground.

In such cases, that human being with such an angel can fall out of spiritual balance. The female-side may be stronger than the male-side in a male human being. They do not want this information, all they want is 'pro gay' information. Which inevitably leads to influencing young minds. Anything else is lambasted by them. Look at the poor church. 20 years ago the church was a sanctuary in he media eye. Now, they are have been beaten to a pulp with scandal after scandal, these scandals date back to decades ago. Let's put it this way, if someone poses a threat to your case, what do you do? Discredit them of course. This to me is he explanation why the media have turned on the church, it is not a coincidence that it started when the gay rights movement begun.
