President Mahama does not appoint MPs. The "Group" must know this. Besides I know for a fact that this is only a gimmick intended to ward off other NDC members who may be interested in contesting the NDC primaries. That has always been the modus operandi of the so-called Mike supporters. I am a Winnebarian and an informed NDC member and can state without any fear of contradiction that given the socio-political dynamics and the level of consciousness in Winneba, NDC will have to present a fresh face for the Parliamentary elections to make any meaningful impact. You can fool some of the people some of the time but you cannot fool all the people all the time. I can bet with my last cedi also that President Mahama will surely win again in Effutu.
