Petrol prices are decided by OPEC the organization of oil producing countries and margins on it are decided by the oil companies.
Ghana only controls duties and VAT and the successive Governments of Ghana have always been very moderate on that.
I say we are lucky to be in Ghana.

The project was never terminated. CP just stopped work when Kufuor came to power.
When Kufuor left he presented a claim based on termination by Kufuor admininstration.
Mills , Mahama and the entire cabinet looked on and Betty Mould approved to pay 94m Euro ---$120m --500m Cedis just like that.
They never consulted the Road authorities. They never consulted Kufuor administration.

I would like to use this opportunity to reach the president of Ghana to help the sick ones at the hospitals. they are suffering and dying each and everyday. some of them has no money so they has to be put on the floor till they die and others also has no money for oprations. now a days the ductors and nurses has to take blibs before they will look after u........why this should happen..........recently a 17 year old girl died just because of 300cedis. at the hospital, the mother was told to go and bring money before they can cure for the sick person who was dying that hurt very much instead of them to cure for her first they left the Girl till she died. before the mother returns with the money they told her ur child is dead. also one thing i have notice is that the nurses has no respect for the sick ones, they insult them and beat them as well they do not give thier medications in time. with what i saw i strongly beleave they are the cause of soo meny people dying at the hospitals. someone must speak for this inocent sick people, since each and everyone of us can get sick at any time, u never know when or what will happen to u. Mr president dont disapoint ur people, some of this patients voted for u before u became as a president. please help them and check the evil nurses. thank u.
