I wonder if this man has ever tried forming a partnership. Had he done so, he would not have over simplified things. Frankly, I think the contrary is better. A one-man business is one where one person (usually the owner) takes up roles from Janitor to CEO - quite different from an independent company with the right structure in place.

in view of raising capital to his point and some sharing of risk, joint expertise among others, could hold true. On the other hand, sole proprietorship due to its formation simplicity, and generally low capital requirement could be also very viable in an economy where the cost of raising capital through loans are not that great. However, if there is mutual commitment and understanding, two people teaming with their own capital to establish a business where neither of them can solely afford raising the needed capital, then partnership could make sense. I think tax and other legal procedural processes and of course our own culture- where family sometimes cloud be a nuisance in business dealings, are some of the issues to consider with partnerships.

Partnerships may be good for the businesses involved, but NOT good for shareholders in terms of acquiring dividends and profits. This guy is not to be trusted. He is a modern day slave tradef

Dr. Adu Anane Antwi, what prevents YOU from forming a joint partnership with other Ghanaians.
