The project was never terminated. CP just stopped work when Kufuor came to power.

When Kufuor left he presented a claim based on termination by Kufuor admininstration.

Mills , Mahama and the entire cabinet looked on and Betty Mould approved to pay 94m Euro ---$120m --500m Cedis just like that.

They never consulted the Road authorities. They never consulted Kufuor administration.

Unless Ghanaians do away with corruption, indiscipline and lawlessness, no amount of IMF dollars will solve the development problems of the country. If Ghanaians reduce corruption to the barest minimum, comply with and obey the laws, rules and regulations there could be budget surplus in Ghana, instead of begging from alms from IMF and China.

Do you think that Mr. BOBO loves your ass that much to help solve your damn problems? Hell No!! He is in always for something good for himself. Neither the World Bank (controlled by the United States) nor the IMF (also controlled by the Europeans) has the interest of Ghanaians or Africans to pump in money and technical expertise to help Africa’s development. If he does that, then WHO the hell is he going to push around, cheat, steal resources from and sell their finished goods to??

Whenever they come in, they first ask you (the government) to DECENTRALIZE several government owned or co-owned enterprises, so they can come in to take over to rip you off. Secondly, they ask you to ELIMINATE subsidies on several services and products such as; fuel (petrol), some food items, health care, transportation, etc., etc., --all intended for him (Mr. BOBO) to get involved to make gargantuan profit.

Thirdly, they ask you to "right-size" aka REDUCE the size of the government or FIRE (sack) many civil servants, because they are a drain on the government finances and, lastly but most important, they ask you to BUY or purchase goods and services with their (IMF & World Bank) loans only from the West—in specific countries, whose monies are being used to advance you the loan.

So, most of us, including new comer Oppong Nkrumah, that it is not the IMF or the World Bank or any western nation which can SOLVE Africa's problems. It's only a mirage and deceptive to the bone. When they come in, they get to know a great deal about your leaders, your national budget (revenues & expenditures), your resources, your secrets, banking system and a whole lot more and before you realize it, they know everything about you and undermine your progress later.

Simply, “Africa’s development would be detrimental to the western world.”

Look at the United States of America, look at the European Union, they do not have boarder check points especially in the United States. People and goods move as the want and please. Why is our African countries still maintain this Colonial boarders in effect holding us back from total development? Why is it not possible for people in African to immigrate to other parts of Africa, without unnecessary papers and road blocks? We are holding ourselves back from development. We are crying everyday about our socioeconomic problems and yet the solution is just under our noses. We have all t he natural resources that if retrieved and process, can help us in Africa. What is wrong with African leaders? Take Togo, for example, if you go to Lome and coming back on foot, the boarder guards will require you to pay them Bribe before you can cross. Why this stupidity, I asked? What is the spirit of ECOWAS. I am sick and tired of this mindlessness. Let President Mahama deal with his colleagues to solve African boarder problems. We can develop faster and we would not need International Monetary Fund loans or World Bank loans, only if we do what we must do, that is open all the Boarders in Africa for African and goods, this will be the "Take off stage for Africa. More to come later. This is my point.

The indispensable foreign loans are not the problem, managing how they are utilized is the problem. If this is what you mean then I am with you. While ex-Kuffour's gov't advised Ghanaians to wean our country off IMF bail outs, the NDC bulldozed their way back to power via election fraud and suddenly, Ghana finds herself at the mercy of the IMF for "lala-su-lala!" Isn't that amazing? Lol!

Newly-elected NPP candidate can see the bright future ahead of our dear country; he says we can't rely on the IMF for progress and develpment, but it seems John Mahama and his crew think otherwise. I totally agree with Mr. Kojo Oppong Nkrumah on his views; his assertions on the economic bail out is clear. So, Uncle Kwasi what's your take on this? Over to you.

Keep this wonderful mind of progress so that no political nor tribal bigotry could derail it. This is God given solution to our multi problems but since without awareness of the magnitude of our national problems, the IMF/WORLD BANK can not do much to pull us out of the pit.

Basically our solutions lie in our own hands; for it is believed that the destiny of a nation is in the hands of the people, therefore every person in Ghana should take a good look of himself and positively contribute his/her quota wholeheartedly for the development our dear nation. Thank you Mr Nkrumah.

However,this will not preclude me from schooling you.
To begin with,one of the herculean tasks of the Ghanaian electorate is to weed out ignoramus like you from being elected and taking decisions for all of us in parliament.
Now to the lesson,
The western world controls ALL the money,manpower,technical know-how,the market for Africa's gigantic natural resources,so it is foolhardy for us to think of independence.
Who eats all the tons of chocolate manufactured with our cocoa beans?
Who has the money for investment,research and development?Who is persistently coming up with new ways of doing things?
To cut a long story short,our socio-economic development is inextricably tied to their survival.If they perish,we perish with them.
Those untruths you are spewing will cost you the seat if the NDC candidate preaches an honest message.
Come up with better expression of opinions on sensitive issues like the bailout,not for the purpose of announcing your presence,but to tell the people of Ofoase and Ghanaians at large that you are smart and worthy of their votes.Do not send the NPP into opposition,because Ghana needs it.

Look at the mayor of Accra. A highly educated man , a former school superintendent in North Carolina can't manage a city like Accra. He would have been jailed had 1/1000th of what happened on June3rd had in a school under his watch.
A typical example, an electrical engineer can't fix his pressing iron and has to take it to the electrician by the road side who hasn't got a little piece of degrees this electrical engineer has so this electrician who acquired his skill by apprenticeship will be playing with him asking him to go and come over and over and over. Why can't he apply the knowledge he has acquired to fix his own pressing iron. Now when such a person is a politician and say a minister what do you think he is going to bring to the table. NOTHING. The same thing applies to our mechanical engineers who doesn't know what a car starter is so they are bluffed by road side mechanic (fitter).
Africans in a pathetic state. Ghana in the same bind.
Even worse under this clueless government.

Not until Ghanaians learn to be truthful we should forget about IMF. Even if the headquarters of the IMF is moved to KIBI we shall still wallow in abject poverty because we are 25m serious liars but we refuse to recognize and accept it. God save Ghana.
