  I do not know the location of the UCC fuel station but I suspect it could be a construction site I spotted a couple of months back located close to the UCC botanical garden and forest reserve. The forest reserve contains a lot of animals, I am told, which are used for research purposes. So these animals are going to be disturbed by the smell of fuel from the fuel station and secondly in case of fire outbreak from the fuel station, the lives of the animals and the horticulture as well as persons visiting the botanical garden could be not be guarantee. Why a university old turn part of a piece of land meant to conserve nature into commercial entity which could pose risk to the environment, I cannot answer.

  The GOIL and Total filling stations in the Cape Coast metropolis were not able to show their permits and were given up to Friday June 19 to present their permits or face "temporal closure".
