Owusu Afriyie is not a politician in touch with realities that was why he lost his General Secretaryship election. He does not know that candidate like Ms Francisca Oteng-Mensah with her back ground as a student will lure them and the Youth into Nana Akufo Addo's campaign and on elections day. Youths like Francisca made Mr Barrack Obama became President of the USA today. Secondly, if Mr. Owusu Afriyie had people like her on his side he would have be the Secretary General of the NPP today. It is better for him to watch his BIG MOUTH and what comes out of it for he is no any cleaver than those voters in Kwabre East Constituency. That the so-called Sir John as well as other repugnant elderly characters in this country who have at best, succeeded in making public jesters of themselves could rise to the positions of Gen Secretary of major parties and even all the way up to the Presidency, tells me that all those in politics today do not have the required experience that can move this country forward because this country has not significantly moved forward for almost 50 years.

What that congenital fool called Sir John is telling the overwhelming number of Ghanaian youth is that they are allowed to use their good fertile minds to vote for evidently useless old folks but they cannot use those same fertile minds to seek political office themselves. What nonsense is this?

If the NPP still needs the votes of the overwhelming numbers of youth in this country, they should immediately and publicly distance their Party from this disastrous statement. If they don’t, the youth of Ghana are advised to advise themselves for what is in store for them in the NPP.

As for young people like Okujeto Ablakwah, fiifi Kwettey, George Nettey, and other empty headed communication team members of the NDC as you rightly put it, it is only because everyone expected them to perform wonders as a result of their untainted freshness in the political domain but unfortunately they disappointed all of us. Having said that, for every Okudjeto-Ablakwa and Fiifi Kwettey, there are at least, 20 other elderly public officials who are doing much worse to cripple the country.

For your information, adults (grown ups) who do not respect themselves by taking public office and not only stealing public money but also showing total and complete ineptitude in public office, thereby causing many untold public deaths, poverty and suffering, should be treated with utter and unrestrained contempt.

For several decades now, Ghanaians who have taken up public and political office are mainly of the above category, it seems like it has now become routine for any jackass to aspire to public office with the sole intention of stealing public money because they know they will get away with it scot-free and laughing.

In other more serious countries where they desperately aspire towards civilized development, such people are lined up at the stake and shot in the head for deceiving the people by not delivering any development and stealing the peoples money.

Typically an arrogant and rather offensive response to what he sees as a threat to the status quo from the younger generation. Hopefully this first small step, will represent "a giant leap" in how politics is done in the the country in the future and should be supported by all.

What is needed is fresh 21st century faces with new, modern, radical 21st century ideas to contribute to solving the country's many woes. Enough of the hot air from the old guard!

The problem of NPP over confidence and under rating every reasonable things under the sky is what killing the party but the can't see that. How come that such a young lady student could unseat an incumbent MP. It means that the MP in question didn't do things right. And that is what sir John and his disciples should look into, they are there saying all these jagons . Always looking old age people all the time and NDC is using the young ones to beat them off. He better go and fix the crisis in the party hierarchy and stop this unnecessary attack on the innocent lady. This is a sweet victory for Francisca . I thought Nana Addo and the new NPP increased the number of delegates for the primaries to elect parliamentary and presidential candidates and other officers so as to make it impossible for them to be bought because of the large numbers. Well, well, well, how wrong we were in believing these claims! We are now being told by Sir John, that buying is still possible under the new arrangement and indeed did take place in the just held primaries. What about the presidential primaries?
