You are repeating exactly what Rawlings and his "let the blood flow" misguided, inexperienced youth of this country said years ago. They claimed that our older leaders had failed and they took over the country in the 80s and mismanaged it for 20years. The result was a Cuban-style communist dictatorship, economic mismanagement, Rawlings' Chain" and abject poverty.
Those revolutionary youth who were wearing tire sandals and condemned market women to death for petty profiteering, are now billionaires enjoying power and money fraudulently. Throughout the period when Ghana was called "ojah krom", they perpetuated their rule through the gun and electoral malpractices. Unfortunately, they are the ones overseeing the sinking of this country today and they will do everything in their power to rig the elections and continue their mediocre rule, despite the fact that Ghanaians want them out.
Believe me; suggesting that the "youth" should take over the running of this country again will not fly.

We cry child labour yet no jobs for the parents. We can't even get chocolate for a child if not the child of a rich parent. A politician travels out of the country to the States and hears car parking charges they want to implement it in Ghana yet don't know how it came to be. We trying to run before we walk. We can't provide just basics like water and sewage yet we want to talk big. Policy makers are in massive cars have 4 or 5 houses. Yet no one ask how they came to own that.

Let me be frank with Ghanaians today that most of these acts are not the true situations on the ground. Most of these actions are taken when the school authorities see the camera men and the TV stations in the school premises. I know they do these to attract sympathy from the general public and also to enable the public to lambaste government politically. It happened in a school I was teaching when we have to re-organize the students into an old deserted classroom to prove that our situation is so bad.

The District Cheif Executive should appeal to the president to sell-off the presidential jet to finance the purchase of furniture etc., etc., even before calling on private agencies and individuals to donate anything.
