Given the choice of Ghana (in its current economical development state)does not have the resources to spend. The focus has to be on creating the economy and wealth for all that will mean that Ghanaians have no issue with paying for education if needed.

This can be supplemented with free schools, but let's make sure the economy supports the people first. Education is important but an educated/skilled person cannot live off of books jobs and a vibrant economy is needed.

The man is far ahead of his time and understands very, very clearly with a single-minded sense of vision and purpose, with a huge dose of realism of exactly what needs to be done in moving and pushing the train of progress and development, further along the tracks.
It is well-thought through, it makes absolute sense and the most interesting aspect of it is, it attracts the best and brightest to that vision, to that purpose, to that goal and that is what would make the difference between progressivism and the current state of affairs, which is retrogression and stagnation, because let's not make any mistake, the problems would come, the difficulties and challenges will present itself, however it is this humongous body of knowledge and wealth of experience that would be the primary determinants of the trajectory of growth and development.
It is a compelling agenda in it's simplicity and totally altruistic in it's outlook, and Ghana deserves this change in 2016. The change is a must in 2016 because the Ghana growth agenda has suffered a catacylsmic fatalism and has in every sense of the word, collapsed under the John Dramani Mahama NDC gov't on the back of the thievery and incompetence and Ghana's "goner status" presently is completely untenable. It must change in 2016. The John Mahama failed leadership and governance must go.

This man has no conscience or integrity he only fakes his way into everything but least knows what entails to be called a head of state. In broad day light in his party office; officials who were conducting democratic exercise were butchered in his name.

Just as has been his demeanour of keeping silent on all crimes levelled against him from being certificate less, Drug baron, Drug user, and womaniser, son of a traitor, drill ship thievery and his involvement in the release of drug baron from jail only Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo can tell; till now he has made no comment about this heinous act.

His public speeches are out of date and have no connection with current trends of social developments. He is more manual than mechanical. I wonder if he knows how to use computers or modern applications soft wares. Ghana needs to move forward we don’t need a retarded man who has no achievement in life than living on ill gotten booty bequeathed to him by his father. He thinks democracy means insulting and using foul language against your opponent and cause disaffection in society forgetting that there is something called conscience. It is God who makes people to discern and cause changes for the good of mankind. If Nana Addo has a clear conscience God will make his wish come through but Alas!!! It will be well for Sodom and Gomorrah than for him to force his will on the people. There is absolutely no sense of patriotic thinking to protect the country. These careless statements create negative perception for Ghana, that destroys investor confidence.
These statements also tells of the kind of people trying to lead us. The destruction of Ghana to make or score political points. People like Nana Addo should never lead Ghana. What a shame.

It is just unfortunate that NPP had to choose someone with such dubious credibility for a Flagbearer. He was the Attorney General in Ghana for quite a long time, and Foreign Minister as well. What impact did he really make to align our systems for running the Nation with those of the Western Countries he so loves to parade their corridors?

As an Attorney General, he could have strongly suggested changes in how most of our laws are implemented to strengthen our Institutions. His passive attention, at best, to his duties as the Attorney General only encouraged our Officials to sustain their corrupt behaviors. It was on his watch as the Attorney General that Government Officials would walk around with stashes of Cash, running into hundreds of thousands of dollars to pay Contractors, and finance trips for National Sports encounters, without paper trail for bookkeeping. No wonder Mahama did not find it any different or wrong to airlift Millions of dollars in Cash to pay the complaining Black Stars in Brazil during the last World Cup.

Let us be honest and concede that there are many other Ghanaians that could be trusted more, and would live up to our higher expectations. Any of the Politicians with old loyalties and intransigent allegiance to destructive political forces of the Past, showing no definitive inclination to reconcile divisions in their own Parties, and the Nation, for our congealed efforts at reconstruction is too big a risk to consider in this fragile period of Ghana's journey.

Action, not words, ought to guide us more as to who can better lead us. Akufo-Addo's recent poor handling of the crisis in NPP, and the continuing unwarranted berating of former President Kufuor and others by Nana's minions without his explicit efforts to curtail that assault should inform all Ghanaians as to how terrible Nana's Presidency would look like.

We should be reminded that the Loans that he and his cousin took to fund his last campaign hasn't been paid back and are due for collection. If he cannot manage that little debt for his campaign, how would he successfully manage our National debts?

We haven't seen any huge swell of eminent and dedicated members of our intelligentsia with the necessary expertise to solve our problems around him. All we hear is repeated listing of the same faults we already know of the current NDC Administration. We do not hear any concrete measures lined up by Akufo-Addo to solve our problems. Demonizing opponents alone doesn't cut it.

I hope Ghanaians take serious note of the situation, and not simply let the anger against Mahama alone drive their votes in the wrong direction.

Mahama's plan which is no stranger to Ghanaians is the infamous CREATE, LOOT and SHARE among NDC cronies and throw the crumbs to its footsoldiers. That leaves about 95% of Ghanaians hurting and bleeding, living well below the poverty line over the long stretch.
The NDC has had 7 uninterrupted years to prove to Ghanaians they deserve the mandate of political power but have woefully failed and disappointed the people. It's time to give the NPP another opportunity at the presidency to deliver all Ghanaians have been waiting for these wasted 8 years of NDC misrule.
