Crime emanating and encouraged out of the highest office of the land . Callousness in character , criminal in thought ,Godless in action, and no true fear or respect for the children of God and anything HE created.We must work diligently to remove this menace from the so we hope al righteous people see this and encourage all worthy political parties , trade unions , market women , drivers ,soldiers and police, lawyers and judiciary, intellectuals , teachers and lecturers , Akans and other righteous law abiding peace loving tribes, pastors and priests, the ordinary man and even the tobacco or wee smokers to do everything possible to stop this pestilence laden , bad luck govt. If necessary we should prepare for even war now so we give our future generations a better chance for a happy future .

Why did he have to wait till the disaster happened before telling the people what really stalled the project? Who knows what the untold story is. So what can the mayor do? In reality if all these superintendent ministers and their heads could educate their members and never count on offerings alone Ghana could have done well in the area of desilting, decongestion etc.

My daily question is where were all these ministers when the situation look like that till the havoc took place at Circle? Were they living outside Ghana? It is easy to find an escape goat and then every foolish person jump on him to destroy him.

They were all there but never a day any of them with the bible came out to speak in defence of the mayor's strategical approaches to implement the byelaws of AMA which in practice could prevent all the disaster we are now crying wolf of.

All the people living in Accra failed to understand the mayor when he was trying to help alleviate the danger in the future, but today instead saying sorry to the mayor for opposing all his good effots, they rather called for his resignation with the stupid minster saying NO TEARS FOR THE MAYOR.

Is it not the same oppostion Kufour and the NPP gave to Nii Adgiri Blankson when he was doing the same thing Vanderpuye is doing today? Why are Ghanaians enemies of development and progress unknowingly. No wonder many of them are possesed with demons hence they love DIRT.

Rene Marratier hid the risks to La Faute-sur-Mer to avoid putting off property developers, the court said.
The storm Xynthia hit western Europe in early 2010. The storm knocked down seawalls in La Faute-sur-Mer, leading to severe flooding.
Marratier called the verdict "unjust" and said he would appeal.
On Friday, the court said that Marratier knew La Faute-sur-Mer, a west coast resort in the Pays de la Loire region, was at risk of flooding.
However, he "deliberately hid" the risk so that he could benefit from the "cash-cow" of property development, the court added.
Marratier's deputy was jailed for two years.
Xynthia swept through Spain, Portugal and France in February 2010, killing at least 50 people in western Europe.

The flooding was supposed to claim the lives of a dozen or so Ghanaians and after the usual promises it would have been back to business as usual. But one life lost is one too many and we have been caught pants down. Things can never be the same. The filling station craze by the 'nouveaux riche' in Ghana with its accompanying environmental assault must be checked. See what that MP is doing in Achimota. Very disgraceful for a law maker! Pull that filling station down for God's sake. Sanity must prevail, laws must work. You cannot do this in a Francophone country like Togo or Cote D'Ivoire. The British have spoilt Ghana and Nigeria.

It is only blind men like this Bantama, Minister who do not see beyond their tribal sentiments. Why did this brainless Minister not ask useless Blankson or I.C.Quaye to resign. Please go and ask the Chiefs of Accra and they will tell you that Dr. Vanderpuije is the best Mayor they have ever hat. Why do you not blame all those numerous people coming from the bush to Accra and putting up structure here and there without permit. Why does the Minister not blame Ghanaians for being LAWLESS in their behaviour. Ghanaians do not know what Hygiene is.
