You could see work being done on these two round abouts and you'd ask your self why NOT the almighty CIRCLE. I saw with my own koro koro eyes how dirty and rusyt everything was any time I drove past it from 2000 to 2008.
But after the so-called beautification, both Danquah and Obetsebi circles looked like the people who beautified them were blind and lepers.

The trade fair pavilliion collapsed under Kufuor's owl-like eyes during his tenure. So Kufuor should stop cackling like a goose.

The genesis of discontinuing government policies and projects began with the Notorios Liars Council (NLC) who after ousting Nkrumah made Busia their advisor. With a stroke of a pen Busia cancelled almost all major projects that were in progress which makes Busia complicit and thereby causing a colossal financial loss to the the nation.

Case in point; which has a direct impact on the recent flood catastrophe in Accra is the dredging of the Korle Lagoon. The dredging construction on the Korle Lagoon, which was meant for recreation and water control like the thames in London, was almost completed when the Mate Meho Busia and their knaves toppled Nkrumah's regime in 1966. The dredging machines were left in the scorching sun on the banks of the Korle Lagoon to rust. Had this project been completed we will have a different story to tell and this self inflicted catastrophe could have been mitigated. Kwame Nkrumah had show tough leadership to forcibly remove squatters settlements from the then Fadama which is today known as Sodom and Gomorrah to Medina to enable him to dregde the Korle Lagoon. The Odor(na) river will be flowing smoothly into Korle river with floodgates control into the sea. Today we are back to square one due to the ill-fated coup of 1966. So if the policy of continuity is anything to go by, Busia's name need no mentioning. NLC and Busia are the source of our woes today. Busia stopped the oil search in the basin of the Volta and chose Saltpond. We all know that Saltpond was flop. Busia's Walatu Walasa project was a waste of tax payers money. The only project Busia continued was Dansoman estates and rural development which was already in the pipeline. How could Busia have started rural development without electricity from Akosombo? Akosombo was inaugurated in January 1966 by Nkrumah. A month later the Notorios Liars Council toppled him. Busia came back to Ghana in March 1966 only to enjoy the hard work of Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah. Busia reaped where he has not sown. But as the saysing goes those who sow wind,reap whirlwind. Acheampong was Busia's whirlwind. The rest they say is history.

When Kanda estates were getting closer to Nima Nkrumah again removed all residents there to Medina. That is tough love through good leadership.
If you leave Ghanaians on their own devices they will continue with this Vulture Culture which I call VC virus.

Weija is another case in point. Each year when the river rises to its limit the floodgates on the dam has to be open to let water out, this in turn causes flood. Here again some blind Ghanaians choose to build their houses on the waterway. So such people ought to be taught a lesson. They must learn the hard way. Most Ghanaians are lawless but ignorance of the law cannot be used as an excuse. Drastic situation warrants drastic measures without mercy.

JDM, were I to be in your shoes ,I would take draconian measures without any IF, BUT, or AND even if that means losing the presidency. We must save Maame Ghana first.

Last but not the least, Petrol Station owners must be made change their tanks as it is done in Europe and America say every 20 -25 years. That way we will avoid leaking tanks which become death traps due to corrosion.

Now before I dash out, I would like to suggest that the fire service should off and on use their high powered pressure water Jet/blaster to free the choked gutters in the city of Accra and urban centres. They can easily and hygienically do it with sea water every week. I am out!

These are some of the things ordinary people of Ghana do not comprehend. When a government leaves power for another government all the projects that were going on by the previous government stop to function. I appeal to Ghanaian politicians to refrain from such ideology that those projects were not initiated by them because we all are looking for the betterment of the country. I will suggest that it should be put in the Ghanaian constitution that when a government succeeds another government, that government should not stop the ongoing projects of the previous government since those projects are for the betterment of all Ghanaians. I think our former president kufour should be upheld as a hero for the developments her implemented during his term as a president of Ghana. His government did much to improve Ghana infrastructure and he should be praised. This is not about NDC and NPP but these are facts that we all saw in the country.

3. NPP under Kuffour completed a major drainage system at Alajo and it's surrounding.

4. PP under Busia initiated an elaborated drainage system at Bukom, Accra Central.

5. Flooding has been with us before independence.

Kuffour's failure to recognize the good works others did makes him the greatest hypocrite of our time.

His own Danquah - Busia fraternity were the first to teach ghanaians how valuable national projects can be ignored.

They ignored all the major drainage projects Nkrumah initiated.

I always regret voting for Kuffour while I was a 18.
He prooves me day after day that he is such a great hypocrite.

Instead he and his government officials sabotaged and abandoned anything the NDC started just like the way busia and his team of nation wreckers abandoned any project our late first and visionary leader dr.
