Have you ever done any back breaking work on a cocoa farm before? Do you know the fraction of world cocoa prices that our farmers are paid? Have you considered that in taxation terms? What happens to the children of cocoa farmers when scholarships earmarked for them disappears into thin air? Have you breathed insecticidal spray before? May the fleas of a thousand dogs infest your armpits the next time you insult any farmer for looking after his own interests. Buulu!

Farmers should get the FULL world cocoa prices less Value Added Tax.
There are many excellent produce marketing organisations in the world that could be used to reform Ghana's cocoa board to world best practice, making farmers happy and seeing neighbour countries seeking to opt in. Smuggling is caused by a bad marketing monopoly and tax system that is unfair to farmers.

Smuggling is an offence punishable by law therefore the law must take its cause and deal with those perpetrators seriously.Those criminals are the cancar worms eating deep into this country's success. Fire don burn dem.
