Kwabena and Afoko refused to repay the loan especially when it could not be accounted for and that started the trouble. Akuffo Addo was behind every machination to get these two out so he could have his way. It is not that Akuffo Addo does not have two million Ghana cedis, but who would use his/her money if he can use someone else money.

Ask yourself this question, “Do you think Akuffo Addo would have mellowed and call for calm if the circumstances surrounding the Prudential loan had not been exposed?”

Abrefa, God gave you the white matter in that big almost-round thing sitting on top of your shoulder: Use it my friend! How often has Akuffo Addo spoken well of Kuffour? Here is Akuffo Addo caught with his hand in the cookie jar; he is mellowed and playing possum and here you are with your bunch of non-entities shrieking for Afoko and Agyapong resignation. The US branch has earlier demanded the same, as you guys are demanding, the duo to step aside.

Some of us abroad, either members or sympathizers of the party (NPP) are not only surprised and dismayed about the infighting and commotion down there, but also very disgusted at how the party leaders are incompetently handling the problems. As of now, Afoko and Agyepong can’t be effective in steering the affairs of the party and either they step aside voluntarily or be FORCED to resign—for the sake of the party.

I thought the NPP has cornered the NDC already because of dumsor -dumsor electric power wahala, high inflation, high interest rates, the speedy decline of the Cedi against foreign currencies, high unemployment, the shaky healthcare system and its delivery, etc., to propel them to victory in 2016, but Lo & Behold, here they are busy DESTROYING themselves and the party and, thus, passing victory coolly to the NDC in 2016.

Even with the “low information voters” we have in Ghana (i.e., most people vote based on ethnic/tribal lines or on personalities—s/he’s handsome/ugly, has money or poor, s/he gave us money, bag of salt, cement, sardines, T-shirts, etc., with no knowledge of the key issues or ideologies), they can now see that the NPP can't even mange themselves or a political party, so how the hell can they manage a country?

Such is the case of Abrefa and his bunch of simpletons in Canada asking Kwabena Agyepong and Afoko to step aside mainly because the likes of Kennedy Agyapong and the incompetent NPP parliamentarians were singing similar chorus in Ghana.

You would think that Abrefa and his cohorts across Canada would approach issues objectively; much better than their counterparts in Ghana mainly because they are in ‘oyibo land’ (meaning the Whiteman’s sense would at least rub on them), but sadly as the Akan saying goes, “Won a ose oko bra owuo no so mpafe nam.”

Reviewing the reasons given to the purpose of their letter one would observe that no thought was put into their collective deliberation at all. How sad! Ampa se, “Odupon tutu a, brofere na esi nanan” (Truly, the pawpaw tree almost always grows in the place of the fallen mighty oak). Gone were the days when NPP had bright leaders in the diaspora!

Abrefa, ask yourself if NPP has known any peace ever since Akuffo Addo became its leader? Akuffo Addo is the reason for the disunity in NPP if you must know. Arthur Kennedy warned NPP about the man Akuffo Addo, but sadly NPP is full of ‘follow-follow’ crowd that cannot see beyond the nose. So pathetic! While younger leaders of England political parties have resigned to make room for the younger generation after losing their elections , the sycophants in NPP, including those in Canada are cheering Nana Addo, a seventy-one year old on. A year or so ago, Tim Hudak of Ontario, a forty-seven year old resigned as the leader of the PC party after losing his second elections.

One would expect that the members of the Canadian chapter of NPP would encourage their 71 year old leader to do the same. Instead, they are now calling on the party;s chairman and the Genera secretary to resign because the party lacks unity within its ranks. The question is; whose duty it is to ensure there is unity in the party? According to the party's constitution, Nana Addo is the substantive leader and he ALONE is responsible for what is happening in the party PERIOD.

Why are these fools not blaming Nana Addo for his complete lack of leadership?

NPP Canada has become a cult which is controlled by Nana Addo's Mafia ring and hoodlums and opportunists - a breeding ground for those looking for easy passage to become MPs. These are people who have lived in Canada for years but were never members of NPP until they were ready to lunch their campaigns for a seat in parliament.
