Does the British Government use their presidential lounge to smuggle cocaine to Ghana? Does the British people try swimming across Gibraltar to get to Ghana illegally? You are a motherless child. Ask your father to explain these things to you. We are always begging the British for food, all our schools use British text books etc. We cannot do anything ion our own as a country without depending on the British people, yet you wonder why they dictate to us. Go to TB Joshua your messiah to explain to you these things. Foolish boy. The British people are our gods, we cannot think for ourselves as a nation, we need a superior being (the English man) to guide us always. We stated with Malaysia, where are they now? Dont make me angry you fool. We need the English to bring us light and wisdom. We are a lost nation with a damaged brain, we still practice female genital mutilation, we still pray to stones, and the most annoying thing is.. we continue to beg for money everyday. We cant even feed ourselves. Now the Nigerians are teaching us how to even make sex. Yet you wonder why the good samaritans(English man)is helping. You fool. Start writting your own science book, start producing your own medicine, stop begging for food from them and come back to me and lets talk. IDIOT.

If the British High Commissioner is not taking sides in Ghana's local Politics, why couldn't he be a little more decorous and offer his concerns and counsel to the Ghanaian President in private?
Taking to such incessant public criticism of the incumbent Ghanaian Government on issues that fall within the confines of the Nation's local politics is not very diplomatic, no matter how accurate those criticisms may be.
The Ghanaian High Commissioner in London would not be treated any kindly if he were to do likewise to the British. Jon Benjamin may, by personal trait, be forthright. But there is a certain sensitivity he should be aware of and respect while serving in such diplomatic Office.
It is very easy for many sympathetic to the Mahama Administration to claim the British High Commissioner is only following a long established belief that the British Conservatives have a loathing for every Ghanaian Government that does not embrace the Danquah Doctrine.
We saw that under Margaret Thatcher, who was bolstered by her USA counterpart, Ronald Reagan, who also never really cared for African Leaders with strong nationalist, anti-imperialist fervor.
Other Ghanaians, also, could easily construe Jon Benjamin's approach as simply condescending because of some intrinsic disrespect the UK has for small countries like Ghana. One would hardly see the British Ambassador to Russia, for instance, so blatantly chastise his host Nation's Administration on local political issues.
Long Live Ghana!!!

Dear Mr Berko, I wish to congratulate you for your very beautiful and succinct submission. Your analysis was spot on and demonstrated a very profound understanding of Ghanaian history and Politics. You write very well and your application of critical thinking is superb. You will score A+ if this was an academic essay. God bless you for taking the trouble to educate yourself to this level. You have very strong and excellent writing skills and you will be an asset to any organization. Although I do not agree with you on some points highlighted, overall I think your write up is a master piece. Ghana will not be where it is today if we had only 10 intelligent people like yourself. God bless you. Keep writing more.

I am humbly flattered. Thank you. I am only a lifelong learner but have picked up a little priceless experience along the way that I would like to share.
Meanwhile, please, rest assured that your digression from anything I submitted is heartily welcomed. Our Akan sages have a saying, call it a proverb, if you would, that: "A single head doesn't hold a counseling session". I would never claim to know all of anything, even if by critical assessment, I recognize I were the only person with a first-hand, physical presence at a scene of an event I am witnessing to. Always, I leave some room for correction of my stance, and improvement of my knowledge from others, no matter how persistent I try to emphasize on the verity of my position.
May the Lord bless you infinitely, and help prepare you to promote his glory through greater wisdom than mine. Ghana would badly need you, and many like you, to secure her sustenance and longevity.
Long Live Ghana!!!

Of the countries he could have joked about it had to be Argentine.
Now our man in Chile has been forced to make a grovelling apology after sending a friend a tweet calling Argentinian men "gay".
To add insult to injury the British Ambassador also managed to bring in the disputed Falkland Islands in the derogatory football message.
Jon Benjamin had meant to send a private direct message to a friend on Twitter but accidentally published it on his main feed, where he has almost 10,000 followers.
The message alluded to a popular chant by Chilean fans in which they sing: “Argentinians, gays, they took the Falklands off you because you are cowards”.
In the tweet, in Spanish, Mr Benjamin refers to the fact that he has secured a ticket for tonight’s World Cup qualifying match between Chile and Argentina, in Chilean capital Santiago.
He adds: “What were the islands that they took, from whom and for what reason? Maybe I’ll get to know at the National Stadium this Tuesday? I’ve already got my ticket.”
Argentinian newspapers and TV stations immediately picked up on the comment, prompting a flood of complaints and threats from locals.
Mr Benjamin, who describes himself as an avid West Ham fan and “Londoner at heart”, became ambassador in 2009, having worked for the Foreign Office for 26 years.
One Twitter user threatened to beat him up while another, referring to the Falklands by its Argentinian name, tweeted: “Football folklore is beautiful until people bring in issues stained with blood.
“This is an insult to all the Argentinians who lost their lives in the Mal-vinas.”
National sports daily Olé labelled him rude, and a Buenos Aires TV station accused him of disrespecting the nation.
Some Chileans also criticised him, including the country’s former telecommunications minister Pablo Bello, who tweeted: “Your comments are
in bad taste, ambassador. You don’t need to appeal to Chilean nationalist chauvinism to fulfil your diplomatic mission. Doing so reflects badly on you.”
Mr Benjamin later removed the tweet and apologised, saying: “I’m sorry I offended with a private message that I published by mistake. I feel great affection for my Argentine friends and respect for their national side.”
A spokesman for the Foreign Office said: “Our ambassador to Chile appears to have inadvertently caused some controversy in a tweet. He has deleted it.” Mr Benjamin, 49, was brought up in Farnham Common, Buckinghamshire, and attended Slough Grammar School before reading German and Swedish at the University of Surrey.
Chile is his first ambassadorial post. Mr Benjamin began his diplomatic career in 1986 as a junior official in Pakistan, and has also been posted to Indonesia, Turkey, Washington and New York.
He is single and describes himself as a “Jewish atheist.

Mr Benjamin, Please forgive my stupid people of Ghana. As you already know, a dog in UK is more intelligent than a university graduate from Ghana. The guard dogs can make their way to the veterinary without any assistance while our overly educated Ghanaian scholars seek healing from TB Joshua when they are sick. Mr Benjamin, you are a great man and thank you for all you do. I am however on my knees begging you, please ignore us the people of Ghana. We are brain dead. If our presidential lounge at the airport is used as a drug trafficking hub, what does that say about the country? Ghana is a sad country, our president recently hosted an African summit/meeting etc and in the middle of his speech, he said "i am missing some papers". Could it be that he is actually missing his mind? Woyome stole so much from the state and nothing happened. Ghana is a melting pot for thieves. We do not have leaders, we cannot even produce a condom. All we do in Ghana is sex. We lack the ability to think critically about issues, we lack foresight and we have very low IQ. We always lay blame on our colonial masters because we are intellectually lazy and dull as a country. The president's brother owns a plane, whereas Ghana as a country does not have an airline. The government talk’s nonsense about promoting made in Ghana goods whiles he orders Chinese made chairs for our parliament. We are not well as a nation. We are thieves and crooks. I beg you to stop giving us AID. We have been taking AID since I was born, i am now 39 years old and my government is still taking aid. Where on earth do you see people abusing their president more than Ghana? It is because he has failed and the people have lost respect for him. Please don't allow these evil doers to hide their stolen wealth in Britain okay. You cannot achieve anything if word on the street has it that Britain provides a safe place for these criminals to hide their wealth (I said, 'word on the street'). Thank you Mr Benjamin for all you do. God bless United Kingdom and may the same God Punish the evil leaders we have in Ghana.

Six of the world’s biggest banks were punished with a mega $5.7bn (£3.7bn) fine by financial watchdogs yesterday after foreign currency traders were found to have rigged prices to rip off customers.
Barclays, Royal Bank of Scotland, Swiss giant UBS and three US banks – JP Morgan Chase, Citi and Bank of America – were all penalised after a long-running investigation into the $5.3 trillion a day FX market by US and UK regulators.
The sanctions mark the latest day of shame for the banking industry, following the multi-million pound settlements over interest rate fixing in 2013 and fines paid over FX fixing in a separate settlement in November.
However, shares in all the banks rose sharply after the settlements as investors took heart that many of the fines came in lower than expected.
Barclays must pay $2.32bn in total, including a record £284m fine from the UK’s Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), making it the most fined bank alongside Citi for the FX scandal.
Citi paid $1.27bn fines yesterday, on top of $1bn paid in the November.
Barclays, headed by Antony Jenkins, agreed to cough up the cash to the US Department of Justice, the Federal Reserve and the Commodity and Futures Trading Commission (CFTC).
New York’s Department of Financial Services, headed by crusading regulator Benjamin Lawsky, also fined the bank and went further by calling on it to sack a number of FX employees.
“Put simply, Barclays employees helped rig the foreign exchange market. They engaged in a brazen ‘heads I win, tails you lose’ scheme to rip off their clients,” said Lawsky, who is leaving his role after four years.
Jenkins, who took over the helm of the bank after the offences occurred, said people at the bank deeply regretted the misconduct. “I share the frustration of shareholders and colleagues that some individuals have once more brought our company and industry into disrepute,” he said.
All of the Barclays employees named by Lawsky are thought to have been dismissed or are due to be sacked.
RBS was fined by the Department of Justice and Federal Reserve, following fines in 2014 from the FCA and CFTC.
“The serious misconduct that lies at the heart of today’s announcements has no place in the bank that I am building,” said boss Ross McEwan.
While four of the banks – Citi, Barclays, JP Morgan and RBS – pleaded guilty to criminal charges, UBS was given immunity because it was the first to confess misconduct to the DoJ. But it was fined $342m by the Federal Reserve for breaching an agreement with the DoJ over Libor fixing. Bank of America was fined $205m for unsafe and unsound practices. It was fined $250m by the Office of the Controller of the Currency.
