Are diplomats - well er, good ones, not supposed to exercise maximum protocol decorum and restraint in the performance of their duties in foreign lands - even if those foreign lands happen to inferior former colonies?

For me it seems like this particular diplomat is either arrogant in the racist sense of the word or the 'jolly Ol' chap' badly wants to be considered for Mr Wayongo's job as Minister of Interior of Ghana.

We all also know that the UK is fast sinking in economic fortunes but does that also mean that its once much respected and famous standards of the highest standards of diplomacy must also tumble down alongside the gloomy economic forecasts?

I have always said this and I will keep saying it: if there was ever a democratically-elected government that deserved to be kicked out of office by a military coup, this is the one.... and not only that.. every single one of them , starting from the president himself, ministers, MP's, political appointees of all types and kinds will need to be lined up at both Teshie and Bundase ranges and the fucking living daylights shot out of them.

Jails will be too good for these thieves and plunderers who have made our once beautiful nation of paradise a living hell!!!

What is this culture of silencing anybody who ventures to point at corruption perceptions in Ghana? Corruption is smelling anywhere everywhere. What is the business of government communication groups to silence anyone who addresses corruption issues in the system. The Ghanaian has degraded in culture and morality in the midst of numerous religious congregations. Religion and culture are one and only way a society can deal with corruption. When these two are separated and treated as differrently then the human race is meant for doom.
Ghanaians in all respect of the social order are corrupt to the core. Any mechanism put in place check it is soon corrupted. The reason being that our leadership is failing and has failed us. Daily people are smart to find new ways to cheat and gain power. The result being that genuineness is thrown to the dogs. There is no measure of justification to any social achievements. Glorification of injustice and adulation of nefarious lifestyle has consumed the ability to discern and condemn wrong in the communities.
Government communicators should allow discussion of corruption in any form and anyhow be discussed by any one who feels concerned about the canker. For how long can we be saying there is corruption and peolple would be prvented from airing their views?
