Strikes, generally speaking are not good for any country but sometimes it puts governments on their toes to do the right thing, and not to cheat employees.
My problem with government is that why not negotiate for what you can pay before even people are employed? If truly some allowances are due these workers, why not pay them? Did you all not go to the negotiation table? In as much as workers have to be patient, government must be responsible. Will MPs work if their allowances are delayed or not paid for months? Not even the Prez. Pay them and stop the mess going on.

Let's pray for peace because things have fallen apart and the centre cannot no longer hold; my brother ! we are heading towards the last days. They system is now more than "mafia". No easy going anymore. Strike is now a slogan but let's remember that there is no production when on strike and its repercussion carries forwards into future.

Ghana is becoming ungovernable each passing day showing no leadership.Looking back Kuffuor made lot of travels but a lot of investors and donor nations were pouring in but all the travels by our Mahama is just not helping and still can not understand why.Is it because of lack of leadership or what. Now he has become more of a president for ecowas than Ghana.May be he needs 6 terms to succeed because as it stands now he has been a disgrace and failure. He was good as a minister but as president I still do not know why he has disappointed me and the Ghanaian populace with tons of excuses and promises each passing day with the patience of the the masses down to zero.
The judiciary is corrupt and inefficient.
The economy is hitting many families hard and many have run out of ideas.
