Sir you missed the point. What has free North Education (which no longer exists) to do with fuel price hikes? I do agree with many that the NPA with the backing of Government are giving a raw deal to Ghanaians. They know very well that Ghanaians cannot do without fuel and so the constant increment. In December last year they claimed they owed a huge sum of money to Bulk Oil Purchasing Company and had to pay that off before they could think of reducing the prices of fuel even though the world market price for crude oil had fallen drastically, from $105 a barrel to $48 a barrel. Ghanaians bore with that. In February or so 2015 the whole debt had been cleared and there was no reduction in the cost of Petroleum products. This simply meant that February, March, April, and May the NPA had gotten a lot of money from the sale of Petroleum products in the country. Before anyone could say Jack, they wihave increased the cost of fuel by 9% with the lame excuse that they don't want any debts to build up. Now what happened to the windfall collected from February till May? NPA and Government are just being wicked and insensitive to the needs of Ghanaians.

It is time for Ghanaians to rise up and demand that, the right thing is done and the fuel price increment is consigned to the dustbin, where that idea came from.
There is no locus for the increment, it is unacceptable and unjustified and needs to be scrapped.
