  To me Mr Vice President is only a stooge sent out by incompetent mahama to embarass himself of-course with the help of his clueless wife. Child labour on cocoa farms in what sense? They make it sound like slavery. These people are happy to do such works because at the end they receive wages in cash or kind. The problem is an incompetent and greatly insensitive government which has messed up all sectors. Mr Vice president, what about those on palm tree plantations? or you need to set up a create loot and share body first. How on earth were you in such a high position in the bank of Ghana? Fix the economy and everything will fall into place.

  Who asked Dr Danaa to take sides in a chieftaincy dispute by solely declaring the chieftaincy status of the Americans illegal. Who sent the National Security Officials to go and harass the Americans. We all know the National Security Zombis like operating under the cover of darkness( you remember the Legon Toll Booth Saga) and their hatred for dogs is unimaginable( you remember NS official threatened to shoot and kill the dogs of the software designer of UG students' election). So if the dogs of the two American citizens were killed prior to their gruesome murder you can now see those behind the killing.
  Dr Danaa cannot throw dust into our eyes. If others have thrown dust into his eyes, that is his own cup of tea.

  I would challenge the Veep to come out and talk about 'dumsor' which is real but leave sch subjects as 'child labour' to people who know what they talk about.

  I would challenge the Veep to come out and talk about 'dumsor' which is real but leave sch subjects as 'child labour' to people who know what they talk about.
  The expression "child labour" has no real meaning in our part of the world where indigenous farming is the only means of live, My father was a farmer, and it was through farming that he raised the resources to take me through education from the age of six till 30. So if I accompanied him to the village during school breaks, why would anybody turn round and accuse him of wickedness? In fact I learnt more about responsibility from the few times a cutlass was thrust into mu hands than all the time I had a pen. There was no chance of picking up and learning corruption on the farm. There was no means to cover up one's back on the farm. I only picked up these bad behaviours when I was released from my farm duties and joined the so called civilised society and came into association with the pen pushers.
  So, for goodness sake, people who must know better should stop standing on our crumbling society and pointing fingers in the wrong direction. What tjey call "child labour" is in fact the means by which the whole country is sustained day after day!!

  What has the current government, and for that matter any government, done but exploit those same indigenous farmers? When ministers' wards enjoy full cocoa marketing board scholarships from primary school through higher degrees abroad whilst wards of cocoa farmers are constantly chased away from primary schools for failure to pay PTA fees, is that not what the VEEP must promise to help eradicate and see to it that it is eradicated? Why waste your breath to preach so nicely to the international community as if child labour is the worst and only form of cruelty in our part of the world? No, Mr VEEP; come again!
