A rape is a rape irrespective of how many years ago did the action took place. A classical example is here in SA currently ongoing in court where young women sports instructor or coach is charged for rape when he was a coach in 1980s. About 3/4 women came together and charged him for raping them while they were under him as a coach. Another example is Monica Liwinsky of USA who was used to charge former president Bill Clinton. So amidni the duration doesn't matter but the evidence is the key.

I have no doubt those involved in the cover up will women as well and all of them should be investigated and duly sanctioned for their negligence. YWhilst it's true that a person is not guilty until a court has determined his case, the cover up has not helped the headmaster at all.
