Mahama(a Gonja) is following the prescriptions of OIC.You remember an MP from Gonjaland declared that adulterous women should be stoned to death. Again Boko Haram in Akyem terrorized Muslim women for buying food from Christians yet the IGP(a Gonja Muslim) kept mute because Mahama was happy. Muslims burnt down a Christian mission house in Atebubu yet the IGP was again silent and Mahama did not condemn it. And now Muslims are flogging a heavily pregnant woman in Akyem Tafo for no legitimate reason yet Prez Mahama and the IGP are looking on. AMA banning churches in classrooms and Northern Regional Minister( A GONJA) accusing the Christian clergy of encouraging politicians to be corrupt, with the sole aim of tarnishing the image of Christianity, are all aimed at gaining OIC membership. These are all plans aimed at suppressing Christianity to please the OIC. These are all indicators that Mahama is feverishly handing over Ghana to the Organisation of Islamic Conference for Money. We should remember Islam is useless without direct state support and so Mahama is providing that support to Muslims to grow in Ghana whilst at the same time suppressing Christians. He is doing this because Islam, as a religion, is useless without direct political/government intervention.

The Qur’an quotes Allah as saying that Jihad is, in fact not just a religious duty but a profitable commerce, a business. (Sura 61:10-12). In the Hadith, Mishkat ‘ul Masabih, Jihad is said to be: “............the best method of earning (blessings) both spiritual and temporal. If victory is won, there is enormous booty of a country, which cannot be equated to any other source of income. If there is defeat or death, there is everlasting paradise....”
In another HOLY BOOK of Islam, the Hadith of Kanz Al-Muttaqi. vol II, pp. 252-286, we have the following excerpts:
"A day and a night of fighting on the frontier is better than a month of fasting and prayer". Here you see that gluttons and lazy Muslims will prefer this practice.
The Hadith goes on to say "Swords are the keys to paradise". "Paradise is under the shadow of swords". "He who draws his sword in the path of Allah has sworn allegiance to Allah." The unbeliever and the one who kills will never meet in Hell". This is a blanket Assurance of Protection for Muslims who are not upright - meaning spilling the blood of non-Muslims will cleanse a violent Muslims of all their wrongdoings.
"Allah sent me as a mercy and a portent; He did not send me as a trader or a cultivator. The worst community on the day of Resurrection are the traders and the cultivators except those of them who are niggardly with their religion". "Go in the name of Allah and in Allah and in the religion of the Prophet of Allah! Do not kill the very old, the infant, the child or the woman. Bring all the booty, holding back no part of it. Maintain order and do good, for Allah loves those who do good". If you find a tithe collector, kill him". "Expel the Jews and the Christians from the Arabian Peninsula..."

In the Quran l stated that any one who kills an inocent soul his sin is like killing all the people of the earth. So USMAN your traslation of jihad is wrong.

Why can't African Politicians relinquish Power peacefully? Are we so selfish and ego-driven that we cannot allow others to rise up to fill our shoes?
Is it because of how we have always viewed political leadership in Africa imperially, dating back to the Colonial times? Or, we simply cannot distinguish contemporary political leadership from the domineering control of our Old monarchies, making us think our Presidents are our new Kings that all must worship, and whom we must allow to reign and lord over us for as long as they wish?
It is about time we began amending our Constitutions to strip our Presidencies of much of their Powers and privileges, so that Presidents would not consider themselves irreplaceable.
This brings back into focus our own (Ghana's) exorbitant, ultra-luxurious ex-gratia afforded to our Politicians, especially the President. So long as we make their Offices so self-serving and allow them to command easy access to our State Assets for manipulation to enrich themselves, we would, forever, be dodged by such recalcitrance of our Presidents to cling on to Power against our Constitution, and the will of the People.
Long Live Ghana!!!

G.K, maybe the Burundi President should have declared himself President for life following Nkrumah template and I think you would have supported him.
Why are you against the coup that ousted Nkrumah but you seem to support this coup? Both Nkrumah and the President of Burundi were trying to cling to power by abusing the constitution they came into power with.
I am really surprised somebody like you who have always spoke against Nkrumah removal is now supporting this coup, this is is paradoxical on your part.
It was not good on Ghana to remove Nkrumah for perpetuating his rule through one party and President for life system but you think this guy from Burundi should be removed for trying to stay in power.
Think about it, it least this guy from Burundi has not stripped the citizens of Burundi the choice of voting for somebody else compared to Nkrumah.

Spot on, Sarpong. I was going to write my thoughts on the unfolding political/military drama in Burundi but just before that I read your comments. If "faultless" and Mr "Perfect" Nkrumah was right then, then the Burundi President must be God incarnate for not declaring a one party state and adorning himself with the life president diadem.
I frown upon the puzzle-headedness of the Nkrumah disciples, both new and old, whenever they attempt to rationalize Nkrumah's over-reach and subversion of the constitution by using his party's majority in parliament to declare Ghana a one-party state and himself as life president. There's nothing like a righteous sin. Ghanaians were largely illiterate, naive and gullible in the 1950s and it was much easier for the manipulative and power-seeking Nkrumah to bamboozle the people with his communist rhetoric. No matter how well intended Nkrumah was, it's wrong for any person to use sophistry and stratagem to impose his will on, especially, a majority illiterate population. How would the Berkos and Kwartengs of Ghana feel if another person today tries to copy cat Nkrumah's methodology? The only time I think a coup is a necessary evil is when the military topples a dictator or a wanna-be who subverts the constitution to fulfill his parochial ambitions. Thanks, Barima Sarpong.

Some leaders in Africa and elsewhere are simply CRAZY! The rule is: Stay in power for a "given period" and allow another through the ballot box to continue. You've agreed to the rule forgetting that time and tide waits for no man. Time is up and you are saying "I will never step down". This is stupidity at its highest level. As much as I don't like coups, it seems this is the only language some leaders understands. Now you've been forced out disgracefully; is this what you want forgetting that Power lies in the hands of the people and not you? Don't forget that the very person who put you on the Seat has the same mandate to get you off the Seat. It happened to Lucifer anyway as he thought he was untouchable. Where is he now? LORD, have mercy.

"Dumsor" is not a problem caused by the present government, but rather former governments should have tackled our energy needs long, long, time ago. But, lack of foresight, and vision made them depend only on akosombo.
Thank God our constitution is working to some extend; two-term for president and no more. It would best, a two 5-year-term for a president.
The president of Burundi should be made responsible for the deaths that has occurred.

Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, the master politician of Ghana and either the best or with the best in Africa. Ghana was the first state south of the Sahara to wrestle power from a colonial power. He was not power drunk but wanted to deliver to the people the basic needs after independence. A political party can do the same, staying in power with different leaders. If Prez. Kuffour had been a little smart to campaigning for Nana Addo to succeed him, Ghana would have been 'Krab3hw3' Show piece of vibrant economy. Look what we seen now....Looting of state coffers. Nkrumah wanted to change the mind set of the new state. The young pioneers would be pioneers now to handle the affairs of the nation, with no idea to loot. Prez. or Chairman Rawlings is the refree supervising the loot now. Nkrumah was not overthrown by the people but hired officers of the armed forces by the colonial masters they saw that he had changed gears to economic emancipation. Compare the billions of Mahama with millions of Nkrumah vis-a-vis infrastructure...Tema township, factories, asphate road, secondary schools one science university, akosombo dam, machinery to produce food and employment...workers brigade vrs no solution to "dumsor' with billions of dollars. Nkrumah was with varanda boys and Mahama with "educated" and "sikadicious' people
