  Where is Douglas of Bristol and his ilk? This time an indegene from Kpando is named Aboagye ( sure after his landlord) has been murdered and mutulated by a yet to be found criminals. My take on this is probably the name ABOAG ...

  Where is Douglas of Bristol and his ilk? This time an indegene from Kpando is named Aboagye ( sure after his landlord) has been murdered and mutulated by a yet to be found criminals. My take on this is probably the name ABOAGYE!! They took his life thinking he was Ashanti, only. To find out later that he's a typical number 9. May his family , colleagues and friends take heart and be consoled. Jude may your soul rest in peace.

  This is a barbaric criminal act not limited to one region. It has to be condemned for what it is. A gruesome criminal act. As to the name Aboagye it may interest SCHEMER and ignorant people like him that there are many Akan sounding names on the eastern shores of the Volta lake. Names like Owusu, Ntumi, Aboagye are common indeed. Before the lake was created the river Volta was narrow and easy to cross in small canoes. With the close interaction between people on both sides of the river it was not unusual to find common names on both sides. There is more that unites than divides us.
