Today the country is in near crisis because perceived corruption and our self centered nature of grabbing for ourselves and family is not doing us any good.President Mahama by way of communication is a nice gentleman, Nana Addo by his body language may be a tough leader who may have the desire to liberate this country from its woes.But the questions is how prepared is Nana and his team because unlike Ex president Kuffour he has not got the charm to bring peace into his camp.What is the best solution? For me the best solution should be a national or union government which will be devoid of party politics to enable the country to move at a fast pace in development.Politics is killing us such that what the law has to deal with is looked at with a political eye thus making it a nuisance.

Gen. A.A. Afriyie to split the party into two. PAA WILLI-AFRIFA-AKUFO ADDO faction took away 40% of the Danquah/Dombo/Busia fraternity to form UNITED NATIONAL CONGRESS(UNC). VICTOR OWUSU on the other hand, took away 60% of the fraternity to form PATRIOTIC FRONT PARTY - PFP. Folks, tell me who was first to break away from DDB fraternity - Akufo Addo or Alan Kyerematen? The LATTER DAY SAINTS and SOOTHSAYERS around Nana Akufo Addo are the cause of NPP's immediate past and current woes! On the contrary you fuel or fan issues to escalate. I entreat you to speak sense like what Fred Oware did. He said the delegates has disappointed him both in Ghana here and back in the U.S, hence his bitterness to destroy the party. According to him, he would use his God given writing skills coupled with his medical knowledge to write destructive articles and books to make the NPP unattractive and appear as if it is a violence than the war mongering ndc group. I thought this good, but nothing "opportunist" was only making a leap service, but as it stands now, he is burned to destroy the party with equally minded persons like him. Clearly there are problems, tensions and some level of discomfort amongst the leadership of the NPP party with their larger than life egos.
That does not in any way support the argument or position that Akufo Addo is scheming to oust Afoko and Agyepong.
Over 100 thousand delegates put the two gentlemen in office and it is very disingenuous when the suggestion is made that Akufo Addo by some machinations is gunning at ousting them.
What the leadership needs to be doing is to let go of their egos, be humble enough to work together with a sense of urgency, a greater sense of purpose, mission minded and communicate clearly and effectively in a transparent and honest manner.
This is much ado about nothing and the bruised egos should give way to a greater agenda, an agenda of developing Ghana with competence, with vision, with focus, on the NPP platform in 2017.

Mr. Kennedy should expend his resources on those who have made Ghana difficult to live in rather than always picking on Akufo Addo. There is nothing to gain out of your barrage of criticisms of Akufo Addo. By your own actions, I doubt whether anyone (including those you now admire) in the NPP will ever trust you. I remember A. Kennedy as student leader at Legon campus. Apart from that I dont know of any achievent of his or any contribution to the political history of this country. He is a nonentity when compared to Nana's contribution to this country's political and economcal as well as social development.

My advice to him is that he should just obtain an NDC membership card and give us a break.
