The problems in Ghana are very simple. Each government want to invent and formulate new policies without continuing workable programs from it predecessor. This behavior is drag to national progress.
I think there have been some workable programs in Ghana before but they were all abandoned> I have compiled about twenty of them which could generate jobs but I believe in CPP.
Brother join that party it has a lot of people out Ghana who would contribute immensely to help promote Ghan.

Who asked Dr Danaa to take sides in a chieftaincy dispute by solely declaring the chieftaincy status of the Americans illegal. Who sent the National Security Officials to go and harass the Americans. We all know the National Security Zombis like operating under the cover of darkness( you remember the Legon Toll Booth Saga) and their hatred for dogs is unimaginable( you remember NS official threatened to shoot and kill the dogs of the software designer of UG students' election). So if the dogs of the two American citizens were killed prior to their gruesome murder you can now see those behind the killing.
Dr Danaa cannot throw dust into our eyes. If others have thrown dust into his eyes, that is his own cup of tea.

What this man is saying is perfectly true. I've lived in United States for over ten years now. Certificates are the yardsticks to gain a job in the US, even though it's recommended. Who has the time to go through your fake certificate? The advance country, especially the US based the employment on the skill based or the can do spirit.
Currently, I work in the Marcellus oilfield, and had no certificate whatsoever to get in.
What they mostly ask for is the job experience, maybe related job experience and having worked in the construction field in Ghana that landed me lucrative job making six digit a year, more than your President with this all fucking degrees or PhDs but can't solve common dumsor problem.
This is the very reason why the country is not moving forward, looking down on the skilled workers like the masons, carpenters, painters, etc, giving more respect to the fucking thieves like you with a so called fucking degree, yet you can't solve fucking problems when you are faced with.
If you don't know, just shut your stinky mouth up and the the Prof educate us.
After all, it the certificate that solves a problem, it is the holder of that certificate that ought to solve the problem.
Have I been able to educate you?
I know you would say no, because you are a fool

Ben and Sadick you can be more than right I've lived in the US for 31years in a senior management position of course I chanced to school here to Ph.D level but it's the passion and skills that drives the individual to succeed.I chanced to be in Beijing in the recent past on an assignment and I could not believe what I saw and heard there are well over 900 students in the medicine and engineering in the medical schools which am more familiar I was told by some of the students who actually hold 1st degree in Biological Sciences and who were denied entry to study medicine and engineering perfoming miracles in their chosen fields!Recently I learnt that the induction of 199 doctors in Ghana includes some of these person our loose policy rejected.looking at it from the monetary point of view if they pay an average of $4500 for the 6years does it nit amount to $24300000.00 for the 900 students?
The other day I learnt One minister Fiifi saying someone did not pass his 6th form econs exams my question was that person is running an internationally respected think tank and you who claim to have degree beyond Ph.D can't even manage a Dumsor and the ministry you handle and here exposing the Govt incompetence

But, what is reported here makes little sense.
This, after all, is a global, information, data-driven age. If a mechanic cannot read, the mechanic cannot operate a Blackberry phone, or other of the newer phones/devices. The mechanic cannot read instructions.
For instance, many years ago there were stories about Ministers who could not operate Fax machines. They were simply square pegs in round holes. Useless for government work.

Every ability or skills need to have some education attached. The bedrock of every society is education. If you are a cleaner, you don't just need to know how to clean physically but also, how to know which cleaning type of chemical is appropriate and the quantity needed. How do you know this? It doesn't need university degree but some training which would offer you a professional certificate. You could even use this certificate abroad to look for a job. It is the other way around. We lack professional education.

What is happening to the staff at the political science depth at KNUST? First it was head of the department along with other empty-headed show horses running off at the mouth about politicians now it's the turn to talk about Ghana's education system. The head of the department Dr. Amoako Baah may have earned his PhD from the University of Tennessee but that is not saying much. Now one of his staff have decided to delve into an area he lacks facts and logic to comment but did anyways. The people leaving Ghana via the legal route, unless granted work permits, permission-based on spousal status in host nation or employer preapproved short term employment guarantees do not obtain legal work just for claiming to possess trade skills or some classroom credentials. Owusu Yeboah should name one country in the Diaspora where professional workers are hired right of the boat without evaluation and assessment in developed industrialized nations? Does Mr. Yeboah know of a medical officer, lawyer, engineer, pharmacist and others hired without completing local certification? Teachers from Ghana or African nations do not get teaching jobs in the Diaspora just for showing up at school districts so where do you get this watered down simplistic ideas?
Ghana is having major problems for 3 simple but solvable reasons: schools churning out students for graduation who are ill-prepared for efforts it takes to make it in the real world, lacking in comprehension in the field of study and limited employment opportunities in the private sector and a pay scale in Ghana lagging behind cost of living. Look the world over and you, Mr Yeboah, will find that the unemployment rates in most western European nations are higher and been so since late 2008 while in the Americas people migrate to the USA to fight over limited high pay jobs therefore pushing hourly rates down by design at the hands of manufacturers and chamber of commerce across the US. KNUST can start by not filling the heads of students with political science theories carved out of tribal dispositions and political party loyalties; show us the number of jobs created out of the political science department?

Doc, the needed support you are adamantly seeking to negate a system which half baked you, to place such intimidating proximity is far fetch. Such spherical blame could have been put in a conscientious terms and not in this malicious mirth.
These two areas you mentioned had such a minute effect on people leaving the country for better life. Yes!!, for any individuals to secure a job globally, they are necessary tools.
The growth of this titanic cavity, for some people who leave the country can mean different things to a lot of people.

Otherwise, please do not tell Ghanaians any bullshit. There are well educated Ghanaians in the US, I mean like Lawyers, Accountants, Teachers etc, with Ghanaian certificates who are now doing menial jobs. Why ? If they want to go into their respective fields, they have to re-certify. They have to go back to school. I think you are one of those people who tell Ghanaians that it's all that rosy in foreign lands, only for them to travel to foreign countries to regret their ventures.
