The age of consent in Ghana is 16, that means a 16 year old girl is deemed an adult and can have sex.

My concern though is that the writer says name of victim withheld but goes ahead to publish a picture of some one with a bandaged right hand. Is that the girl? If yes then what was the point withholding her name, as those who know her can easily make her out from the picture.
