The true fact is that, the npp is constantly refusing to look themselves in the mirrow and accept who they really are. And until they accept what they are, more problems will surely tear that tribal party apart. The pretentious stand is too much.Many of them are hiding behind trivial issues to make capital fools of themselves. Instead of confronting their problems head on, they are always accusing the opposition to satisfy their ignorant and guillible supporters. The fact is, Akufo Addo should never had been given the change again. But because of greed from his family members and the whole of his Akyem folks who feel it is their time to steal Ghana money, they made everything possible,bribing and the rest to make him the candidate again. They started by going to court to change the elections result,which Akufo Addo knows very well from every fibre of his body that he genuinely lost. Now, the tribalism is at its highest point against the none Ashanti/Akyems. I can bet my last cedi that, what is happening is a ploy against Paul Afoko and not Kwanena Agyepong. Should Ghanaians allow such characters to rule over them again? The chioce is theirs. Akufo Addo is so frustrated that he is even prepared to kill all Ghanaians and become president,even if it means he has nobody to rule over.Such a dubiuos character. I fully agree that in a leadership position, it takes the collective interest to subdue one's urge to project one's ego to the forefront.

That is what many have to admonish Kwabena Agyapong with. But the threats on his future, etc., would not necessarily do the trick. He has, by this Article, revealed that some folks in the NPP have been pushing him against the wall, trying to destroy his future in politics. Whether that is true or not, it is the NPP's ultimate interest that must be considered a priority, and I would admonish Kwabena Agyapong to look at the situation that way.

Simultaneously, those trying to undermine him, if that allegation holds any water, must be cautioned to let him be to work as expected by the Party.

So far, all the 'behind-his-back' moves by Blay and others to sideline Mr. Agyapong and Mr. Afoko are driven by baseless suspicions that because they might have been on Alan's side before the Primaries, they would sabotage Akufo-Addo's chances.

Why don't honest, fair-minded folks within the Party challenge those with that speculative fear about Mr. Agyapong and Mr. Afoko to cite even one instance where the activities of the two leaders have gone contrary to the Party's expectations and Nana's ambition?

All we have been hearing is a series of blatant antagonistic maneuvering by the Akufo-Addo camp to sideline Mr. Agyapong and Mr. Afoko, as if to say, the former's camp has no recognition for their roles in the Party.

Surely, such clandestine orchestrations would naturally and understandably infuriate anyone in similar positions. So, let the Blays and the shadowy figures behind Akufo-Addo's divisive schemes pull back and rethink their strategy. If they fail to improve the relationship between them and the 2 elected top NPP gurus, Akufo-Addo would pay a heavy price in the end and he and his cohorts would have themselves to blame.

I'd rather prefer that Kwabena Agyepong resigns honorably and leave the party he claims to love in one piece than putting up a fight he's bound to lose . He's already a loser and should resist the temptation of being labelled as a serial loser. Fight back or not, the battle lines are already drawn and he's bound to lose against the entire party machinery. Leave the party intact than put up a fight because he'll get thrown out eventually.He does not command majority support any more so if his plan is to leave the party in disarray and disjointed, his accusers would then be proven right. No one who is loyal to a party will do anything that's inimical to its success and throw it into disarray. Fighting back will deepen the suspicions of collaborating with the NDC and it will cause the NPP to permanently sever ties with him for disloyalty. If Kwabena loves the party then he should leave quietly and leave it in one piece. This way, there's a pretty good chance of making a triumphant re-entry into the party hierarchy after the dust has settled, maybe as its presidential candidate.
