There is not much Ghana Education Service can do about this. Parents need to take responsibilities. Responsible parents, when I was growing up even had curfew for their kids. Now "CONFUSION NO AYE BASAA."
Mahama solve the DUMSOR problem(Which I have never blamed you as solely responsible for) so that kids can do their home work and not be fooling because there are no lights to study.
Teachers can do their best to give their students a lot of homework so by the time they finish, it will be too late to go out. That is what happens in my neighborhood. Sometimes my kids are not able to finish their work until around 10 PM. So, there is not enough time for fooling and playing.
Sex education(which looks like a taboo in some communities in Ghana) should be taught well because the kids of today are smarter than those of yesteryears. Parents should not assume kids do not know, like and want to experiment with sex.
With the early marriage, hmmmmm, it is a problem. Poverty is the main cause. Which parent would not want to see the child in a good profession. They are given out for marriage because parents are poor to take care of them, and also want them to be married than become pregnant without husbands.
