  John Mahama says an airport official took bribe from a foreign visitor to Ghana and tarnishes Ghana's image overseas. He is therefore asking for help from Ghanaians to tell him to summon for all documents processed at the airport for that particular foreign individual he referred to. He can then find out who took the bribe without the help of his corrupt police officials. What is hard about fighting corruption?

  I am highly disappointed at all big-heads. Everybody in authority knows what is right but choose to do the wrong or look the other way.
  Because, a few elites, mostly lawyers are the cause of the problem.
  Lawyers and I mean all of them see no evil and know no evil. Hence, the single most backward, none performing and pseudo-illiterate institutiondhould be accorded to the institution of law in this country.
  It needs an overhaul, no one will accept the rhetorics that so therefore cortuption is the whole society any longer as Emile Short contends. It is the lawyers.
  What is and who is at the judiciary, EOCO, parliament (make law), attorney general, police (law enforcers) CHRAJ, Min. of Justice, and so on the list swells.
  All have disappointed the nation because of individuals; politicians who claim to be above the law, they protect , by laughing profusely in court with all sorts of comedy to defend a culprit.
  For instance we all saw how the contempt of court case against Sir John v. State case went.
  All were lawyers when the president of the election petition rebuked and could have easily made a custodial sentence, Ayikoi Armah came along with his wife or so to plead profusely for Sir John.
  Are all these people not the lawyers who should know better what happened in the end.
  This is exactly what we are talking about. Some intelligent person should prove to me that they were all not lawyers.
  Although, the president or chairman bemoaned, almost to losing his temper he was seen as the individual by even his colleagues and not as purely doing his job.
  As he rightly said it is society that suffers, the poor, the unconnected, ..... society at that instance was a helpless bystander and always have been spectators when again the lawyers do their worst.
  This is exactly the state of the nation in view of corruption which runs into millions of dollars lose every day.

  Is it true the Chief Imam has ever received a four wheel drive vehicle from the sitting President. Or did he or his Office hear being rumoured that he had been given a four wheel drive vehicle from the sitting President. Did he or his office address that allegation. If it was true did he ask the president where he got the vehicle from. I have wrote on a few occasions on this platform that what is happening to Ghana or the era of corruption Ghana finds its self in now could be traced to the door steps of the Church and the Mosque. ln Ghana today about 90 % of the population are either Christians or Moslems. They occupy almost all the positions of TRUST in Ghana. Since the fourth Republic alone all the four Presidents we have had including President Mahama are known as John ( maybe christians ). Unfortunately we have had one Vise - President in the person honorable Aliu. Mr Aliu who is late now, may his soul rest in peace, was and is very much respected. I never saw him in person but have heard so much about him. Among other things politicians both sides of the divide and most ordinary people I've heard from say he was incorruptible. A good name it's said is better than riches. The Churches and Mosques which preached moral principles and their schools and colleges treated moral principles and academic excellence equally are now wallowing in deficiencies in both areas. Both the church and mosque are now glorifying wealth and riches no matter where it is coming from. The Church and the Mosque leaders whom God or Allah Has made the gatekeepers, whom He passes messages to the nations through them, now dine and drink with the politicians. Because now the christians and moslems are not waiting to receive their reward from heaven. In any country where the church and the mosque are bedfellows that become recipe for disaster. One of the simple reasons for this is that the politicians seek after the kingdoms of the world which Jesus rejected. Out of a hundred politicians how many of them tell or will tell the truth. Proverbs 14 :34 says, the Righteousness exalt a nation. Simply Ghana as a nation have forsaken God. We are worshipping Astaroth. The Church and the Mosque must go back to to God. God will save Ghana. AMEN.

  SURE WAY TO FIGHT CORRUPTION
  
  We all know that because of collusion amongst people, uprooting corruption in society has always been impossible.
  
  Neither Man nor Government can fight corruption successfully, especially in Ghana.
  
  The only sure way to do so therefore is to resort to the SPIRITUAL means.
  
  All we need to do is to start fighting corruption from the top and it will transcend to everyone in the country within a few months.
  
  How do we accomplish this?
  
  Whenever we swear in Politicians, Board Members and Senior Management of Parastatals, or any High Level Government Officials in the Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs), we should make sure as part of the oath of allegiance they swear to will include:
  
  (1) A BLESSING to these individuals and their families if they perform genuinely and diligently as if, to quote Mr. Mahama, "such institutions they manage or oversee belong to their fathers".
  
  (2) At the same time, there is a need to insert a section within the same oath of allegiance on bringing a CURSE to these same people and their families, and even from generation to generation if they ever amass wealth through corruption during the period of their public service.
  
  What the Government can therefore do is to modify those oath of allegiances slightly to reflect these proposals and I can assure you that, Ghana will surpass even Singapore in her development within months and not even in years.
