But in seriousness, it is the quality of the members, their commitment, engagement, determination to focus and achieve for the benefit of the people of Kumawu, is the most important issue. I would advise that you find out more about the group before making negative and unhelpful comments otherwise, as your name states, you would be ''falling apart instead''.

Even if there is no man in the group, even if it is made of ghosts, they have presented their argument and all you can do is to present yours and not insult the Adoffo guy.
I read the entire article with interest, though it has nothing to do with me. I'm not an Ashanti. To be honest, I'm a Kwahu, and though I do not agree entirely with the writer, I think he made a valid point.
He did not tell us if the Dr Yaw Sarfo is a royal or not. He may be a royal from a different household. He should have told us why Dr. Yaw Sarfo's house cannot install a king now and why he thinks the Principal Member of Anananya Royal Family of Kumawu, should be installed.
Don't just come here and cast insults, show that you have brains, by asking intelligent questions.
In the Akan inheritance system, as the family grows bigger, ascension to theonres become problematic. That is why the Asantehene should be seen to making wise decisions in making sure that a plan is in place for a fair rotation from house to house and not take sides. He should not be seen to be supporting the queen of Kumawu as opposed to the other Kingmakers. A wise overlord should not do that.

Manhyia is not the preserve of only the the Oyoko clan. The Aduana clan can also ascend the golden stool, though the oyoko clan have dominated it for ages. Maybe otumfuo is doing this to break the Aduana front so the oyoko clan will have it forever.
The Aduana clan of Kumawu should wise up and unite so as to have the opportunity to ascend the golden stool in the near future. This may be a divide and rule tactice the Asantehene is using to eternize the oyoko clan's hold on the golden stool.
Those of you who think the writer is the enemy, should rethink your stance.
You may disagree with him but there is a food for thought in his submission. Take a holistic look at his point and raise some legitimate questions.
Both sides must be ready to win something and lose something in order to bring peace to Kumawu (it is a win-lose situation for both sides).
The Asantehene must not let his brother, Tweneboah Koduah down. He should know that he wouldn't be where he is had it not been Nana Koduah who sacrificed his life for Asanteman(including Kwahu).

If such a group exists, why doesn't it go to the Courts to seek injunction on the ruling Otumfuor made to authenticate the choice of the Kumawu Queen-mother for town's Chief? Taking to Public denigration of the Otumfuor does not serve any helpful purpose in settling the case. If anything at all, such insults on the Otumfuor only raises his determination to stick to what he has already ruled in that Chieftaincy dispute. The insults also chips away some of the eminence the occupier of the Golden Stool among his peers within and outside Ghana.

Sometime ago, someone wrote an article on ghanaweb (Unfornately, I lost the title and cannot trace it) about the history and kingship of Kumawu which shows that, the guest mother was right in installing Dr Sarfo as the legitimate chief of Kumawu.

I read the entire article with interest, though it has nothing to do with me. I'm not an Ashanti. To be honest, I'm a Kwahu, and though I do not agree entirely with the writer, I think he made a valid point.
He did not tell us if the Dr Yaw Sarfo is a royal or not. He may be a royal from a different household. He should have told us why Dr. Yaw Sarfo's house cannot install a king now and why he thinks the Principal Member of Anananya Royal Family of Kumawu, should be installed.
Don't just come here and cast insults, show that you have brains, by asking intelligent questions.
In the Akan inheritance system, as the family grows bigger, ascension to theonres become problematic. That is why the Asantehene should be seen to making wise decisions in making sure that a plan is in place for a fair rotation from house to house and not take sides. He should not be seen to be supporting the queen of Kumawu as opposed to the other Kingmakers. A wise overlord should not do that.

Manhyia is not the preserve of only the the Oyoko clan. The Aduana clan can also ascend the golden stool, though the oyoko clan have dominated it for ages. Maybe otumfuo is doing this to break the Aduana front so the oyoko clan will have it forever.
The Aduana clan of Kumawu should wise up and unite so as to have the opportunity to ascend the golden stool in the near future. This may be a divide and rule tactice the Asantehene is using to eternize the oyoko clan's hold on the golden stool.

Once Otumfuor settle the "Ntamk3se3", he should have allowed the Kingmakers to go back and continue the process of investigating Dr Sarfo to see if there was nothing that disqualify him. If everything was okay, then they would give him a date to come swear before them and Kumawuman(not Armed policemen). If they founf something wrong with him, then the Queen mother still have two more chances to choose another candidate amongst the seven. We are trying to make sure Kumawu can reclaim our rightful place amongst the few Paramount Chiefs like Juaben, Mampong,Asumegya,Nsuta,Kwaman(Kumasi)Ejisu, Chiefs who came together to form our Confederacy and chose Kumasihene as Our leader. KCLA have members in USA,UK, Italy, France, Switzerland, Canada and others. People talking about Otumfour as overlord in Ashanti region should explain in detail for all ghanaians how they came about that title. We all know that the Otumfour title refers to the stool that our Ashanti chiefs occupy, but not the persons occupying it. Many have come and gone and we refer to all of them as Otumfour. Why?
The subject "overlord" comes about where in the olden days, one kingdom has conquered another in which case the leader of the conquerer becomes the overlord over the conquered.
Did Kumasi ever conquer any town within the Ashanti region besides outside the region?
Kumawu has never been conquered by Kumasi and I challenge readers to check their history. Our forefathers fought along side some other strong paramount areas in the region to achieve all the victories Ashanti are credited with. Then and again we formed the Ashanti confederation of which Kumasi was given the leadership role. It doesn't mean they are the sole decision makers in every individual town. At least not over Kumawu. Kumawu was a strong farce in the old Ashanti. Played a very important role in the region achieving victory. We deserve a lot of respect from Manhyia for the role we played in this region. Not for Kwaku Duah and as such Manhyia to dictate to us, impose themselves on us, and extort us. My message to the Asantehene is that please back off our chieftancy affairs, because we are not gonna give in to you. With all respect.
