Unless RECRUITS have nothing to do with RECRUITMENT, if suddenly "491 recruits graduated on Friday to join the Ghana Police service".

Hmmmmmmmm, that is Ghana for you. It happens under all governments. Don't blame NDC alone. NPP, PNDC, AFRC,SMC 1 and 2 are all guilty of that.

Almost all those sacked were those recruited under Kufuor. Kufuor drafted NPP foot soldiers who were mostly armed robbers, pick pockets, swindlers, rapists, trotro drivers' mates etc into the police service. Don't you remember Asabee's boast that his allocation was 300 and so got over 300 of his constituents into the police?

Now as place officers they have become licensed official criminals. Some even embark on robberies in uniform while others rent out guns they signed for to armed robbers. I congratulate the IGP for ridding the police of these NPP criminal party police.

This is nothing to be proud of. I would have loved to see commendations and not dismissals. The more the dismissal the more the service is downgraded

Am sure most of those sacked were the police who took part in the demolition at Adjei Kojo and they have no mercy for fellow human being.More are yet to follow soon. Mark my words.

Infact am scared, IGP what system have you put in place to constantly track these dismissed officers.These jobless officers can become hardened criminals in the society, so must keep eagle eyes on them
