Going to the IMF was unnecessary. Ghana must realize they have potential assets to gain real wealth and stop the borrowing without any planner asset development with the money.

The nation cannot keep borrowing from institutions like IMF that only borrow money to nations to keep their agenda going. What nation has IMF ever helped to develop? Can any one mention any?

We need infrastructure that touches our masses lives and that takes real planning. Planning that incorporate our way of live not planning based on foreigners way of live.

Farming is big business. Have our government ever created farming companies via the agricultural ministry? We have no effective schemes or laws on land management yet we expect our people to figure out how to best utilize the land themselves. The government does that spearhead any research farms to sell or partner to private farmers within the nation to grow wealth. Cash crops are available to grow and the least the agric ministry can do is to sell or offer researched methods and data on suitable lands for these crops. We are only into borrowing to squander on roads that go bad within a year.

Cocoa board is our example to create a marketing board to buy and market cash crops grown here in Ghana? Taxes and revenue through Researched info sale, seed and fertilizer sale will be available in this in the short term to long term for government to reap from. Such a scheme will create avenue for many hopeless farmers to have access to a workable and hopeful scheme. Government can purchase farming machinery to rent for farmers so that monies will be paid back by subtracting from revenues once farmer sells harvest to the marketing company that buys crops from farmers.

We have many viable schemes that the government can incubate and sell to the private citizens via pay back scheme to grow wealth but we are not doing it. This IMF economic help will end up fizzling into thin air to pay government workers or subsidize the overblown government expenditure.

Government must use the monies to invested into planned and sustained projects that directly or indirectly touch a bulk of Ghanaians lives.

Our education ministry should see that quality of education in Ghana is not the same as past years.Without quality student out economy cannot improve and be sustained easily. But we must understand that at this point there is no much money to have any real upward impact. But Government can simply improve education by creating a transparent scheme that will enable Ghanaians home and abroad to donate to the schools they attended to improve the schools. We lack labs, infrastructure for schools, sports amenities and many other needs. Our schools are not quality oriented that's why we don't see sports programs, community service and other things that help students thrive in them. Corporate businesses hardly donate because the education ministry is not engaging them to offer a helping hand to target projects at the schools.

And most importantly our government men must engage private businessmen like me to help move forward the economy via forums not collect monies from IMF and squander it on the name of politics.

If government plans well it can bring back synergy from Ghanaians who will support development. Most Ghanaians hardly know the real plans of Government let alone offer our bit to move the nation forward.

When Ghana went to HIPIC under NPP, NDC is still benefiting from its effect because the interest written off is to last for at least ten or twenty years.
