It has been said that many lecturers lack teaching methodologies. What should be the minimum requirement in recruiting lecturers into a tertiary institution? Is it a masters degree or a PhD with a course in education??

Professors in tertiary institutions must read GES directives. There are many important and useful GES directives which would help them.

GES banned all forms of corporal punishment in Educational institutions but there are reports that some tertiary institutions are still carrying out this practice. Asking students to kneel down and so on.

Lecturers in tertiary institutions must recognize the fact that students in these institution are adults.

Don't send your children to school started by a religious group that you do not agree with. Don't send your child to a Presbyterian school if you cannot stand presbyterian discipline. Don't send your child to an Islamic school if you do not want to hear about the Koranic teachings. Don't send your child to an SDA school if you cannot accept the sabbath as they practice it. Those who started those schools did not mean to create a L. A. school.

The time you Muslims were waiting for the government to do everything for you, the churches were collecting tithe and collections on Sunday to build schools. The Presbyterian church built its own teacher training college so please stop talking about what you don't know much about.

You enroll in that mission with an expectation of good morals and excellent education for a better future. If you do not adhere to that schools practice then make another choice.

I went to a Methodist school. I sat side by side with "Bawas" "Munumis" and "Hajias" in class. On Sundays I went to Church and Bawa, Mumuni and Hajia would also go to Mosque for prayers. The relationships between religions groups was peaceful. Now religious tension appears to be brewing in the country.
It is true that almost all primary schools were started by missions of the traditional churches. When the Government took them over, they were allowed to teach their beliefs and practices. Children would only be admitted to particular mission schools where their parents were members. In response to this, the Government established Local Authority Schools to admit all children irrespective of religious background. Unfortunately, at the time when Government took over the missions schools, there were not single Muslims school in the country. If there were they would also have been taken over and allowed to teach Muslims beliefs and practices.

Please do not stir up religious tension to save our country.

Mission Schools were built for a purpose of educating the children of her members.

we do also have islamic Schools in the Country who are also adhere to their core believe.

so if a Christian child choose to go to islamic School as a matter of choice he /she must obey the instructions in that School.

if you find Kwaku Bonsam tradtional University or School as satanic to your core believe or faith dont go there.
in Kwaku bonsams house there are rules and regulations so if you are a Pastor or Rev. Minister and cant obey those tenants rules in bonsams house dont go there period.
